Yes, and I remember seeing from a Documentary a few years back, the oldest 'Flood Story' was more than likely based from a historical story from around the time of the Ending of the last Big Ice Age when the sea levels rose exponentially in the Mediterranean Sea and forced their way through the Straits that separated the Aegean Sea and the Black Sea causing a massive flood that engulfed the very early homes and villages of humans living around the Black Sea. Hence, Oceanographers, Scientists, etc, etc, HAVE found both evidences of flooded early villages PLUS the lower levels of the Black Sea have been found to be non-saline, oxygen depleted waters and as most people know Sea/Saline water is lighter than fresh water and given time the saline water will float on the non-saline water. So, it is a far more possibility that the Epics Noah and Of Gilgamesh and their predecessors were based, loosely, upon much earlier 'word of mouth' stories handed down through time by even earlier inhabitants who were affected by the flooding of Black Sea by the rising sea levels in the Mediterranean Sea, etc, etc. But as to FLOODING the ENTIRE planet to a depth enough to cover Mt. Everest, etc, THERE IS and WAS definitely NOT enough water, free or in condensation forms, etc, available at any time in the last 3-4 BILLION years of the history of this planet.

A little bit of a 'trick" I learned for those of us who grow Coleus plants/bushes. At the end of Summer-early Autumn, trim the plant/s back to approx. half their size and diameter, leaving just a few small shoots and a few leaves, then cover the plant/s with either a clear plastic shroud open at the top OR , if they're in pots put a large clear plastic, at least 2 litres in capacity, with the base cut off over them, embed the shroud or bottle into the surrounding soil and water sparingly over the colder months. Watch them as they re-generate and when Spring is in full swing again remove the covers. Instead of them just dying off, you will have fresher, more bushier Coleus plants again.

Depends mostly on the material the conduit is made of, if it is plastic you can possibly bend it to the shape desired by first putting a decent amount of dry sand inside the conduit then sealing both ends with a cork, put the conduit into boiling water until the area that you want to bend softens and gently bend around a solid piece of metal piping with same diameter as you want the bend to take on. The sand usually stops the conduit from 'pinching' in on itself as you bend, but best to practice on scrap pieces until you've got it down pat first though.

In response and my opinion, I'd say this, 1) The States were 100% correct in closing their borders to try to prevent what could have been even greater Infection and Death Tolls amongst their populace, as we have sadly witnessed with Victoria, 2) Our National response, given the Covid virus was entirely new on the scene, was better than expected as compare with the U.S, and other countries, 3) Aged Care has ALWAYS been a bone of contention, imo, whether it be during normal times or this Pandemic and imo, there seems to be some who take up employment in Aged Care not out of a sense as in what we who were once in the Nursing sector called a sense of actual caring for the patient/s, but only for the wages/salary, This MUST be addressed and resolved permanently, 4) The W.H.O., imo, was correct in declaring a Pandemic since Covid was as near as damned to 'out of control' from the get go, the world wide Death Toll is way beyond what could be classed as 'reasonable' under ANY circumstances imo, BUT the W.H.O. is NOT the be all - end all governing body that some seem to think it is, it IS an Advisory Body at the very least and something akin to the U.S.C.D.C. etc. Whining like spoiled children over such trivial things as limitations to so-called 'personal liberties' etc, is, imo, utter selfishness in the face of such a horrific event as this, how would you, the whiner, react IF Covid infected and killed those closest to you BECAUSE someone or other merely decided to ignore and disobey these limitations thus directly infecting those whom were closest to you? There are some, well a few in fact, that one can take in this situation that I have found often do have the needed effect, a) Get to know more about their religion and religious belief systems than they do since if, imo, one wants to 'remove' a large stone/boulder from the ground it is far quicker and easier to dig under it first than it is to merely continue chipping away at from the top downwards, and, b) do your very best NOT to confront them and their beliefs, instead, just quietly and clearly as possible give/propose possible well founded alternatives, often this method works well since it helps sow that tiny seed of doubt into the mind, and finally but by no means the last or least, c) as in training your dog, etc, reward works far, far better than cajoling.

Notice that when he got his quashed conviction, imo the one he did NOT deserve btw, he headed straight to a Convent? I kinda wonder IF, a) his time in the Cooler was wee bit uncomfortable every time he dropped the soap and bent over to pick it up, or, b) wanted advice from the Nuns about how to avoid getting caught the next time around.
