when Spring starts and the roses start to set leaf buds, give 1 half of a tea cup of Blood and Bone mixture power, sprinkled around their base and then water in gently. Warning, IF you have dogs or cats TRY to keep them away from the Blood and Bone, they love it but you will NOT like the "exhaust' gas perfume they leave behind them, it is really bad on the sinuses.
