Old Betsy and I would challenge and beat the best 'super' bikes in town every Saturday night in races on the " Mad Mile", a straight stretch of Highway just outside of town. @AnneWimsey For at least the last 10 years I've had Doctors telling me to get a Knee replacement done. I know at least 2 dozen people who had it done and found it to be either little or no help/relief ever since. I have, what we older Aussies call 'Uncle Artha,' Arthritis in my right hip, right knee, right ankle, both shoulders, left and right elbows plus Degenerative Osteo-Arthritis in my left big toe as well. I live alone, do everything for myself and have done since 2001 and, as I keep telling the Doctors, I've spent quite a few years in Operating rooms and seen first hand what goes on in them, so WHEN I'm dead they can replace my knee/s then and only then.

In actual fact, I've turned it around and used my 'experiences' with my Mental Illnesses to try my best to make myself a better Counsellor who works with others suffering from almost ALL kinds of Emotional and Psychological problems and Illnesses plus doing so in a completely Gratis, Pro Bono way as well. Please do NOT TAR us ALL with the same brush, instead try to learn a bit more about who we are, what we endure, etc, etc, then judge yourselves BEFORE you judge US.

Oh, I'm not worried in the least about Imaginary Sky Daddy 'smiting' me, in fact, shortly I fully intend to shower, change clothes and go for a walk to buy some, etc. As to him 'blowing up' my house there's not much chance of that happening since the local Authorities put the kybosh on his Steam Generator system. According to another friend who also owns a Sheep Grazing Property, he hopes to purchase from him an ancient, 1930's model Lister Diesel Motor and it's attached 32 volt Generator which he wiil, with his consummate skills (???) CONVERT to 240 volt Electricity to power his home. Lister 'Diesel' Motor, to the best of my knowledge, Lister in the 30's made Power Kerosene Motors, etc, for generating Electricity for Homesteads, not Diesel ones.

Bear with me while I give the history, as I know it, of Evangeloon from approx. when he took up residence here, about 8 years or more ago, he 'moved' here because his mother and family members could no longer tolerate him and his 'ways,' His mother bought the house he now lives in for $96,000 Aust. even though it was valued at $60,000 JUST be rid of him, He arrived, proclaimed himself to a Fully Qualified Stone Mason but NO employer in the field within 500 miles of here will employ him because his 'qualifications' are bogus, He began erecting with in months what he calls a Patio attached to the rear of the house, no draft plans, designs or the like, NO building permits either despite local Council Building Regulations, etc, it STANDS approx. 15' tall at its highest point and spans at least 30+ feet across the back area of the house, He then set about removing the drainage system from the Kitchen and made an uncovered, open channel system to use waste water for plants, actually native Eucalypt trees ( trees well known for having truly MASSIVE, well spread out and invasive root systems that can easily spread for 20 or more metres around the trunks and cause even the strongest concrete slabs to crack and crumble), about 6 years ago he purchased a NEW 48cc Petrol Chainsaw to cut and collect fire wood, spent 4 days TRYING to discover WHERE to batteries were and how to charge them, That same year he begged me to take him out with me to a property so WE could collect fire-wood, he had an old Toyota 2 x4 wheel drive pick-up truck style vehicle and a 7' x 4' box section trailer, where we went there is a very wide, deep sandy creek, I warned him NOT to try to drive UP the middle of the creek, he ignored me and got stuck, axle deep in the loose sand, 3 hours of digging later we got free, over the next few weeks he dismantles the entire external stone built chimney from his roof because, " it is too old fashioned," and never replaces it and then replaces a perfectly good older style, working wood burning heater with a new one, still no Flue/chimney extending of the roof/building and wonders why, the Heater does NOT work properly and the house fills with smoke, 1 year later, his Toyota needs either urgent tunings done to the engine, timings, instead he buys a third-hand Ford Courier style pick-up truck, it begins to over-heat so he instead of getting that rectified, he adds OIL to the the radiator since, in his mind, "Oil cools the motor, so extra oil in the radiator will help cool it even faster, the Ford breaks down BIG time, I could go on and on BUT I think you get the picture.

@Wisterious No boasting/bragging by any means here, but Henry is very bright and forward for his age. He could read, write, say the alphabet and count upwards to 50 before he was 3 years old, could turn on the television and the Netflix before that. His Dad is an I.T. tech. with the local City Council and when Matt is working from home, Henry is often his valued assistant with Computer repairs, etc. in the 2 years Henry has been attending Public, Secular school he has been in disagreements with 3 Christian teachers over religious 'trash' as he calls it when they have tried to teach his classes about Jesus, etc, and has NOT been Suspended or given Detention once because his arguments are, in the words of the School Principal, faultless. I had to stop myself from laughing or showing emotion on Xmas Day when, just before we all sat down for Xmas Dinner, he called to one side and said quietly, " Santa doesn't exist, I know it's everyone who ioves me that gives me the presents but don't tell anyone because it might make them cry."

I think, as he often does, adapted it to suit the situation. But he has watched a few "Dirty Harry" movies when his parents THINK he is asleep though.
