You are absolutely right for the wrong reasons ! Lions do it to stop thr predessesors genes in thier tracks and lionesses don't fight to protect her young, she just removes them out of harms way. As for bears they kill the young to stop competition, the females also preferr to keep thier young away from males and will not intentionally go fight the male if there is an alternative. Humans go looking for something to fight about !

Just general fighting between the sexes. Men and women are bashing each other all the time. Why is that ? Even in families there seems to be no respect for the elders leading to fights.
