@FrayedBear I could have but no I didn't. I don't claim to be any different, especially since I'm a very introverted person. I'm not a social director. My only point is that things are far different than days past. I am an old lady and remember how things used to be before cell phones. Just opening up some conversation.

Yes, we so often don't like our own company. You are right about the newspaper, I didn't even think about that. And I am not immune. I am a very introverted person and rarely make a move to talk to strangers. But I am definitely open to talking to almost anyone.

I especially like airport lounges when I'm traveling. People seem to let their guard down easier, probably because they know that they have a plane to catch in 30 minutes and will never see you again.

I didnt take a picture, but my son and I went to dinner Friday and every table around us was packed and everyone was on their phones. We decided to play straw wrapper table hockey instead. We actually got shhhh'd.
