@OldGoat43 the White Helmets are part of a terrorist group funded by a British company, MI6 and until recently the US. Or so it is said the US may have recently stopped funding them. That would put me against them! They have been caught on several occasions staging fake rescues, involved in several beheadings, organ theft, theft from local citizens, in pictures with terrorist and with weapons, and a list of other activities supporting terrorist while only operating in terrorist held locations. Over the past several months I have posted a number of articles to their actions. Well covered by Vanessa Beeley. You can find much of her work here>>> https://www.patreon.com/vanessabeeley

We have a long history of stable journalistic work to build reliable cases on. For an example on Syria, I posted a UN conference recently about the White Helmets that debunks all the false narratives the main stream media and establishment politicians have been using to fool the public on about them and the terrorist we have been funding and supporting. I have posted or referred the group to Abby Martin's work in Venezuela a number of times doing the same feat. Also her work in Palestine. I've posted decades of Robert Parry's work based on honest investigative journalism, documents released from the freedom of information act. If you're finding yourself confused or unable to develop a lasting opinion on news and world events, I might suggest your allowing the main stream media in to much. And not enough independent in. I'm here to try to make it easier for some like you. Offering other sources that fill in the half truths and filter out the bullshit. I welcome any post for another opinion you might need or want one on. I actually encourage it as long as it is done so with the intent of intelligent dialog with substance to achieve knowledge. I would also add the false Russian narrative of hacking the DNC I have spent much time on here from one of my most trusted sources.

William_Mary replies on Jan 6, 2019:
@Cutiebeauty I would argue the house doesn't need any help in being portrayed as a negative. The article is suggesting that these women who have already in some degree shown they are going to fall in line with the establishment politicians they're embedded with. Policies they are proposing and backing together lack any real substance to fight against war or inequality. OC's own green deal lacks any job creation and actually offers a means to corporate involvement in which further enriches them. It is a stolen program from the green party which under their development also addressed those issues as it would be implemented. All of them, I believe, voting and backing Pelosi as speaker of the house. Who doesn't have a progressive bone in her body and will most likely fight much of anything they claim to support. ( 2020 promises to reach a crescendo of absurdity when it comes to diversity hustles being unleashed by two faced candidates. Elizabeth Warren, Kamala Harris, Corey Booker, Beto O’Rourke, Bernie Sanders and a slew of “I’m one of you” scam artists will flock to Iowa to push their qualification through the prism of identity. They will promise change, pander and throw out platitudes, each one throwing crumbs to marginalized groups. They will go toe-to-toe with a Donald Trump who has also perfected the swindle of speaking to people’s grievance. If you found yourself getting upset because I included one of your political heroes, just know that is how the diversity hustle works. It’s easy to see when others get jived, a lot harder to understand when you are the one being hustled.) In 2 years I have little doubt most of the new people coming in will be among the list of names above. And a big reason for this is because a large number of them come from a career of military and intelligence back grounds. They will continue to support the military complex and corporations that come with it.

The party depends on the citizens to get on the ballot via signatures. Then once on the ballot it depends on your vote to reach a certain percentage to become a liable party, and be allowed in debates in the future. Rule changes have made it hard for a 3rd party to achieve this. And with the help of main stream media demonizing 3rd parties if they begin to get a strong backing is an agenda to keep them out. Along with denying them any coverage knowing they are working on grass roots support and limited money. But Sanders supporters showed that can be combated in 2016! You're right on local elections. But is that because the incumbent managed to quell any attempt of opposition? And or your local citizens chose not to participate? You're never going to get money out of the establishment electoral system. With every move advocates make to change laws they combat with new legislature. Recently having managed to allow foreign money into elections. They are doing everything to keep us from knowing who and how much money politicians are getting in campaign donations. Laundering it through PAC's and foundations.

William_Mary replies on Dec 29, 2018:
There are 2 kinds of media. There are independent news sources that go above and beyond within investigative journalism to bring you truth and facts. That takes time. Or you have main stream media which deals with a fast paced cycle news like that of fast food. Competition news between 6 corporate owned news sources that often get things wrong or half truths. While main stream media does provide some good content in some areas, their political news comes with a perception management. Most of what you get from them is what the corporation wants you to think you know. They are programmed to program you into thinking what you believe is actually real. When most of it is not. Those you see on TV are not investigative journalist. And those they bring on their programs are often paid by the corporation to also manage your perception in collaboration with the host. Your local news can be fairly trust worthy, also though, within politics, beware. Independent journalism as I said above actually takes time to get the complete story. While more often dealing with our political nature and world view you'll get a completely different outlook of politics and a world view. Although pick wisely. Some are there with an agenda also. Which is why The Guardian today is under fire from the best of them for printing fake news and unproven accusations. All I can offer you is a chance to see a difference. My most trusted site in political news. https://consortiumnews.com/ I would suggest you start with getting to know the man (Robert Parry) who started this news site as the first news source on the internet in 1995. BELOW Robert Parry’s Legacy and the Future of Consortiumnews https://consortiumnews.com/2018/01/28/robert-parrys-legacy-and-the-future-of-consortiumnews/ If you challenge yourself enough to visit some articles on this site of issues you follow in the main stream media, I'm sure you'll see another view of the US and world to compare. Much of what you think you know can be changed if you have an open mind to look for other opinions and fact.

@rcandlish it's a theory based on ancient artifacts, ancient drawings, ancient civilization writings, paintings of many artist of centuries passed, the bible, etc. A vast majority of it hypothetical. Which we also can't say it's false. Is the claim of the guy telling us he was transported to the future and then back to his time hard to swallow? Or an under ground civilization? Of course it is. But then so were many things we now have today in the times just a couple of centuries ago. And even more so further back that people were beheaded, imprisoned, or put on house arrest for the rest of their life as the case with Galileo, over what became truth, by the Vatican and their christen belief system. Your negativity is astounding. I hope your draw to watch the documentary wasn't on my account of my offering it to the group. If it was I'm sorry you wasted your time and money on it. I'm personally drawn to these theories towards a means to learn and mentally challenge the now. Evidence would be a mere bonus. But that might take time like proving so many of the works in science. In which those like Einstein and other theorists believe time travel may be possible. Along with worm holes and black holes. Which some are concerned about the project in Europe on the god particle, worried they might open such a thing and swallow us all up or create major catastrophe. It's strange how 2 people can absorb and then relate to others on a matter so differently. While I see so many parts of it useful, you seem to focus mostly on the negative towards debunking the whole thing over unknown certainty. When throughout time there have been many occasions promised certainties have been proven to be imperfect knowledge.

Robert Parry started that news source in 1995 after walking away from establishment news media. It has a gold mine of articles in the archives. Obviously the older articles will be displayed differently from over the years, but still fairly easy to read and learn from. I highly suggest you start at the top of that list to get a feel about Bob Parry. >>Robert Parry’s Legacy and the Future of Consortiumnews<< It's also found on the right side of most updated pages of the articles. Bob passed away at the beginning of the year in January. It gives you an insight of his career and the integrity he put into his work and how investigative journalism should be still be. Also, I found this one to be a little touching. >>It Started Over Lunch and Led to the Exposure of One of the Greatest Scandals in U.S. History<< It also delves into the beginning of the noticeable total collapse of the main stream media during the Reagan era. Also during the Iran-Contra scandal. It's a short sweet story of how 2 people meet and go on working together for 35 years! I often get lost in the archives there looking for something to refresh my memory while working on a post. While I occasionally get my stories mixed up, I do try to be as factual as possible. But I can't always keep up with all the shit going on today. And search engines are making it harder by the month to find stuff. Stuff I know was easy to find are now like gone. But I get into those archives sometimes and the next thing I know a couple hours have blown by.

There have been reports of paid trolls working for David Brock of Media Matters for America to attack on social media in support of Clinton during her past election. Right now he is under accusations of running a large campaign against Trump. Which is most likely fueling the none stop coverage of Trump. He did such a successful campaign against Anita Hill and Bill Clinton as a conservative the Clinton's hired him to work for them after he made a party switch. Rumors are that these people were paid 25 to 50 cents a post to confront critics of Clinton during her campaigns and attack pages for Sanders. With everyone being so partisan I don't see it having much effect on outcomes. And most reports reflect that also. However, I see outrage and a stronger sense tribalism is the most effective outcome due to the medias exaggeration of use. While they give you the idea that millions were spent in Russia Gate and they reached millions in their attempts, investigations show only about 100.000 was actually spent and reached so few people it barely registers. And a good amount of it happening after the elections. I look at social media as just another place to spread the perception management outside of TV and radio. Simply because so many use it today. It's just another tool for them. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Brock

I might argue that the strife between our countries isn't what it might seem. I'll even throw China in with that while I'm at it. The whole Benghazi thing was full of the wrong questions I'd argue was on purpose. The only reason it was a thing was because some independent journalist caught wind of the illegalities and brought it out. It was the main stream media's role to make it the quagmire it became. Same goes with her emails and then later the DNC leak. Which the right questions have been totally ignored, over a false narrative of the Russian's which have carried on now for over 2 years. The world economy is always unstable for a reason. Even when we think it's good it's not. It's a casino for the worlds elite to manipulate how much the rest of us have. Just like a machine in a casino rigged to put out a winner every so many pushes of a button, they control the numbers by insider trading and risky deals always in control of when to stop the machine for our loss. With Assad gone it would create another vacuum into another vast area for terrorist like they created in Iraq. Doubling the size of area they run mainly free in now. We have created more hate towards us by being there which would leave that area vastly open to major amounts of new recruits to later have to deal with. Which may be part of the reasoning for pulling out now. Leaving it up to Turkey to deal with and allow the growth of a new front of terrorist later. If reports of Turkey going after the Kurd's play out as being reported with the new backing of Trump, all hell is going to break out over there. And this raises the possible need for the US to then put ground troops in place. Turkey would then be looking at an expansion of terrorist attacks even it can't handle and collapse also. Without Assad, where do the people of Syria turn. They take up arms. It's their only choice.

While most of what I get from these people are suggestions, possibilities, or general hypothesis, they also provide compelling arguments towards reaching their "claims". I don't view them as either a problem or even a matter just on the internet. So those of us with an interest in these possibilities are goldfish swimming in scum? For seeking a wider understanding of what could possibly be going on around us, for or against us. Since we are on the internet discussing this, your claiming there's more of a reason to have doubt? While everything we don't know or understand as a certainly should be questioned, building a foundation towards fact must be accomplished first. Have you even seen the documentary to cast doubt on any particular claims from within it? While there are people in the documentary that speak of unknown proven fact, to our knowledge today as citizens, which you can find in the trailer at least one, most of the other issues have a decent foundation of hypothesis for them. The producer, David Wilcock, can only work with what is provided. Historical evidence, people he has encountered over many years in this field, to build a foundation towards fact. It's what science, people like him, and many other aspects of knowledge in their positions are all about. Personally, as far as censorship goes, I'd reserve that for those with closed minds who bring negativity into the discussion on this matter in a means to degrade those with the interest. Or trolls who have an agenda of purpose to manage a perception to quell others from seeking any further into the matter. How in the name of truth finding are you even able to label that as a means of censorship? Or do I not understand what you mean by "truth testing"?

William_Mary replies on Dec 23, 2018:
@brainyactress and I'm not advocating suppression. Especially towards someone that is admittedly jealous. Jealousy is a natural instinct that should not be seen as a negative. It simply warns one that something may be wrong and needs addressed. Whether it's from within or from the outside of certain situations. I'm more frightened of someone that claims they have no sense of jealousy! It's when you allow jealousy to run its own course without addressing it that creates problems that can manifest into a disaster. In your case I would argue you need to address the dynamics of your poly relationship. As I said above, in essence, I don't believe an open poly relationship is good for you. You have to many emotions playing out that create strife. Within yourself which could lead outward to others. You would be better suited in structured poly relationship as I also mentioned above in another reply. Where you could be more open to express your feelings. Then possibly watering down the amount of emotions you're dealing with now to better deal understand yourself and those emotions.

William_Mary replies on Dec 23, 2018:
@brainyactress If competition is allowed to dominate the contract, then a number of other senses are surely going to expose themselves. Obviously open poly isn't your cup of tea. By your own admission it tears at your soul. You need a new contract. One confined in an agreement of The House, or, at least, a committed group, where there are guidelines of responsibility and time frames. That is one of the main issues that come with open poly relationships. One must keep feelings in check, at best, suppressed, being there's essentially no way to adequately divide time among all participants when spread outside a stable establishment. In your case, is it jealousy or a case of loss of power? It seems to be the loss of power rather than the initial draw to this thread of "jealousy". Along with you seemingly participating in a competition within yourself, outside of his understanding? A sure way towards self abuse if you tend to start losing. Anger comes next?

William_Mary replies on Dec 22, 2018:
There already is. Reports are that Russia has some in the area to a degree, military contractors. I personally would consider the FSA (Free Syrian Army), al-Qaeda, and al-Nusra Front, White Helmets, and the fake mobile medical unit associated to the White Helmets as private contractors. As many as half a dozen groups have been in and out of Syria that have received funding and weapons from mainly the US and the British. Over the years these smaller groups have broken up and embedded into al-Qaeda and ISIS. With the CIA funding and weaponizing some groups and the military doing the same with others. Either way it's our tax dollars funding groups. In some cases these groups fighting each other at times also. They break down and join each other. Insanity. To what is now 2 or 3 major groups left. Is there a difference between these groups and wall street private groups on the market? I guess that is a question to be answered when analyzing this.

Somewhere around only 10%, often even lower, actually post in forums or produce comments. I also know there are not many that are going to scroll through the many articles in the past as they come in. This post for example is telling me 12 people have viewed the content. Only you and I are commenting. Only you took time to chose a degree of possibly liking it. I have no way of knowing who actually read the article. Which is a wider problem in politics today. Many people just read Headlines and miss the information within. A tactic main stream media uses to their advantage to spread the illusion via spectacular capture. My hope someday is more people will relate for the members how what we are witnessing today have touched their lives and share it here. I'm rather impressed we have as many members here as we do. If you're willing to "bend" laws to get your desired outcome, do you not then become a Trump? Or any other entity or person who does the same. I will argue getting rid of Trump will only open the door to another just like him. I'll get into that in a minute. I will argue that for at least since Nixon, we have been enduring corrupt and dangerous presidents. Even Cater who could easily be seen as a powder puff was also involved in shady deals and aggression's in the middle east. That he could have chosen to reverse course in rather than to expand in. Which became a legitimate argument, for divisive illusion, from the right when it bit his ass. Adding more to the problem than a reversal of policy would have provided. So where do we draw a line on what corrupt and dangerous are defined? When these events have all been a process of growth within an agenda from a starting point? Part of my point from above. I'll get into that in a minute. You worry about harm to the western alliance while admitting it is corrupt and dangerous. Then add how the media misrepresents it. I would then be cautious of what the agenda of the media may be and start to redevelop my opinion on whether the relationship I'm viewing is actually what the media wants me to think. Maybe what the media has me thinking is actually directing me away from the possibility that these relationships being misrepresented are actually them working together. Maybe I should look at who's benefiting here. And I would argue that the same people benefiting are the very same people who have been benefiting all along. As much as I like Ray McGovern's work, I have pause that the deep state is working against Trump. And my newest idea to support that argument is the last invite by a deep state member family to their funeral of daddy Bush. Is this the new casual allowance of acceptance to smooth the Trump era over? I think we ended up with Trump on a purposefully lead agenda to uptick the far right movement in this country. I'm not being fooled by the dog and pony show going on in the media and DC showcase. I guess I'm trying to point out that I think we've been in a one way tunnel headed down a bad road for quite some time. No one really before Trump any better that the other. All headed to the same destination, benefiting the same few people, with very deadly consequences around the world. And not just here in the US, but every country on the planet is in the tunnel with us. Fascism is on the rise everywhere. That's not a coincidence that can be placed solely on Trump!

So if they are changing the rules as they go, you're right, we have no democracy. I've been to that point and it's a large part of my argument here. They are how ever leaders. Whether it be local state or national they are to lead over us according to the laws we hire them to moderate and modify as times change. I just don't see us as being the one's actually doing the hiring anymore. This goes further than just nation and world? States have their own laws and constitutions? Their own congress and senate? We pick our leaders in those states. Now you're on my path. They need to be thrown out of power! Because corruption, as above with with rules, is being changed slowly from cycle to cycle. I can start with the Reagan administration on murder. And end at Trump. From Central America to Syria. And every president between. They're already getting away with it! I'd call what the banks, wall street, and corporations did in 2008 a theft. You're talking about tribal partisan divide going to the streets? While I'm challenging our representatives and media who have the power to inform. Did they take what the streets and people like myself were offering to confront the rise of Trump? The rally protest were played by the media as party divide, lacking any substance of reason they were occurring. That was done with purpose. The street protest took form after the elections for the most part after the illness had already set in. While people like me were putting out the warning symptoms. Nader and Hedges were warning us on how the Sanders campaign was going to end up. And they hit the bulls eye. The probable fall out of a Trump win was plastered all over independent news sources, along with his history of shady dealings. I used them for over a year. His presidency has gone virtually as was predicted. I'm attempting to state that those that had the best opportunity to prevent a Trump win failed us. Also with a purpose.

William_Mary replies on Dec 5, 2018:
My answer since the last corrupt election cycle in 2016 has been to leave the establishment elections by voting outside of it. We in no way shape or manor are going to change either of these parties by voting from within. Going back and forth has been a futile attempt. Voting in a potential progressive over the decades has also been a futile attempt. They either bow to the establishment, such as the likes of Elizabeth Warren, Al Franken, and Bernie Sanders, or are silenced to a point they either are voted out of just disappear. Never to hear of them again. These people do all the right talk but when it comes down to the walk, their votes speak a different tune. Sanders was my last straw. I spent over a year advocating for him only to be stabbed in the back. Only then did I take a hard look at his votes and his excuses to be able to see the light. "I think this bill has some good things in it" no longer fit the fight against the machine! To voice opposition towards Clinton's wall street love, allow them to rig and election on you and stand in silence while they did so, then join the false Russian narrative for them, quite disturbing! Much like Teodrose Fikre who's articles I post here often who worked on the Obama campaign, only to realize he to was hood winked. The system isn't for us, it's against us. I advocate today to vote for the Green Party. The only party that has a platform that nearly 75% of American's can identify with. The chore is to get those stuck in the illusion a 3rd party can't win and support it. It has made some strides locally and state, but it needs a kick in the ass nationally to get it on the ballot system. If we could just get that top spot the wonders could be phenomenal towards moving the country in another direction. And it can be done the same way we propelled Sanders to the top of the primary cycle in 2016. All grass roots efforts.

Our advocacy groups have let us down here in the States. Unorganized and weak on confronting representatives in a proper manor of meaningful dissent. Today they are for the most part quelled by the very objective measures they fight against, within, donations. The weakness often due to their reliance on a party that no longer fights with them, the democratic party. And any sense of a good protest that does happen is now marred with counter protest of violet opposition and of law enforcement. And like the case of OWS, law enforcement infiltrating the protest and creating the violence to emotionally quell the leaders from wanting to participate in any further marches. Which also lead to targeting the leaders with false unwarranted charges and arrest in those protest. While letting those coming in and becoming destructive to public property go free. It has become the norm here in the US to shutdown any meaningful sense of rightful dissent while allowing the right to create chaos, even when violence occurs. But having a peaceful march or sit down, you get arrested and pepper spray. Load a park or area with people who don't have a clue what the Constitution is about while banishing their assault rifles and numerous hand guns, crickets with all kinds of media coverage. Most often the only peaceful protest to get media coverage today are those that end up breaking out in chaos in which it can be turned back onto them as unruly. Divide and conquer has been achieved.

Not to mention colonization from the British even long before. Leaders from that area have been used as tools and tossed out like changing seasons by the westernized world. Syria in actuality really doesn't have much of a life as a sovereign nation when it comes to recent modern times.

Assad is Russia friendly. It's the only reason the US/Qatar/Saudi Arabia has a problem with Syria. Syria was the key to the U.S. building a pipeline up into and through Turkey, and cutting into Russian oil and gas sales to Europe.
William_Mary replies on Nov 25, 2018:
Up until 2011 or so, Syria was also a place the CIA used black sites to send captured or expected terrorist to interrogate and torture in the first years after the Iraq invasion. During a time Assad was a relatively cooperating tool. This was a win win for Assad at the time being he had a relatively terrorist free country much like Iraq once did. Then it became, as Wesley Clark warned, a target of the machine. Much for the reasons you mention. There's already a company there stealing oil there that Cheney, Rumsfeld, and other American interest had a part in. https://journal-neo.org/2015/10/26/genies-and-genocide-syria-israel-russia-and-much-oil-2/ I have since heard Cheney and some interest have withdrawn interest? Possibly due to them being outed? I might argue a lot of Assad's problems today is also to silence just what went on in the first years of his toolship also.

William_Mary replies on Nov 22, 2018:
http://pnhp.org/what-is-single-payer/policy-details/ (Single-payer national health insurance is a nonprofit system in which a single public or quasi-public agency organizes health financing, but delivery of care remains largely in private hands.) Which leads to more of the same problems we already have? Such as.... (Private insurers waste our health care dollars on things that have nothing to do with care: bloated overhead costs, including underwriting, tracking, billing, and sales and marketing campaigns, as well as exorbitant executive pay and an overweening imperative to deliver maximum returns to private shareholders.) While the page you give us has no details, this page is full of possible contradictions. While it's listing all the nice things it can be it also leads right back to the core problem. (The system would be affordable. It would retain current levels of public funding, which now account for about two-thirds of U.S. health spending. Modest new taxes, based on ability to pay, would replace premiums and out-of-pocket payments currently paid by individuals and businesses. The vast majority of households would pay less for care than they do now. Costs would be controlled through negotiated fees, global budgeting and bulk purchasing.) ACA ---- Affordable Care Act---- Wasn't so affordable for me and my fellow co-employees when our employer dropped our health care program the year ACA went into effect. Many couldn't afford it and went without, paying the fines. Therefore they didn't get the Care. While my savings went bust trying to Affordable it. I spent over 13,000 the first 2 years for my health care. Which I barely used. Only getting the required yearly physicals. In which during the second year the insurance company screwed me over and then also cost me half of my tax return. I got the Act alright! So my problem is if the private industry is still going to be a major player AND the so to speak middleman now, what's going to contain them from shooting up prices to compensate for money we are supposedly to save? (Other nations have demonstrated that single-payer health systems work, and work well.) What other countries? Dear Canada, any members here from Canada, is your health care considered a single payer system? British? Europe? At least Bernie Sanders gave us a simple evaluation with a 2% cost at tax time via socialized health care. Which averaged out at my income of about 700 a year. That's affordable! Wiping out all questions and the quagmire greed we have now. Which seems is more likely going to be a continued problem. Which one of these are we looking forward to! http://pnhp.org/resource/health-care-systems-four-basic-models/ As of now the forth one isn't working in our favor.
