Then the company could start over with regards to making a profit. Pass it down to family or turn it over to employees. Companies back then had regulations/responsibility to provide a product useful to society, pay a fair wage to its employees, and make a profit. If this couldn't be accomplished the company was liquidated and shuttered. That must of went out during the start of the industrial age boom when we had like 5 men that were in constant battle to own the entire country. Which brought us to where we are today. They decided to join together and fuck the entire world up for shits and giggles. Now we have a club of billionaires carrying it on for them. Some of them from the same 5 families.

William_Mary replies on Nov 18, 2018:
Benefactors would be the pharmaceutical and insurance companies at the expense of those, the victims, forced into the program. My argument there is that today's foreclosures are a delayed response in many cases also caused by the 2007/8 collapse. I was one of those victims. The year Obamacare went into effect my employer canceled our healthcare program. My choice was to abide by this new law or pay a penalty from my taxes. At my age and having a heart issue going without healthcare was not an option. With my then employer plan I was paying $125 a month for my health coverage. Forced into Obamacare my coverage jumped to $438 a month. In the second year it went up again to $550 a month. I made to much to get the government subsidies many lower income people could receive. It was basically a redistribution of wealth from the middle class people who had no employer healthcare programs. While the program was good for many it also screwed many. Especially families with no employer program who ended up paying considerably more. Several hundred to a a few thousand a month. With healthcare premiums going up an average of about 20% a year its far from affordable. It drained a large part of my savings, left me 3 year of not being able to do upkeep on my house, and restricted life to a good degree. I'm sure this is still verberating.

We now have it making another comeback. I see another chaotic election cycle in 2020 problematically worse than that of 2016. I foresee a larger presence of white nationalist at Trump rallies and protest around the country as this virus is spreading throughout our countries with the help of our politicians. As one would see in Blumenthal's article, both republican and democratic politicians played a role in the Ukraine. We funded, trained, and supported the rise of this virus for a false narrative against Russia. Now they(Ukraine) are training and communicating for recruits from around the globe to go out and spread their virus. We have 2 years of this festering for 2020 that governments are silently standing by and watch grow. I said it, !governments! This issue will become another us verses them and the status quo of voters will continue to spill on the streets. Question? Does our militarized police forces join the ranks this time around. Will this inevitably spread to other countries in 2020 as it raises here? We're looking at a German history that's 100 years old taking form right here in the land of the free. But it comes with a price of being trolled at times and the same cognitive dissidence I see on facehack. The amount or arguments that lack any substance or material proof is astounding! Even when presented with facts to combat one line of useless rhetoric they get from a politician or MSM they supply more empty rhetoric. The Clinton supporters were every bit as bad as the Trump supporters. Provide a video, statement, or actions from their history and they could always provide an excuse it wasn't true. Point out how democrats and republicans have done the same in many issues, yet they would argue it's not true even against the evidence provided. I can't speak for Canada, but we have a party that doesn't take money from corporations or PAC's. The Green Party here works on grass roots donations and has a platform social friendly with a green alternative. But we can't get the majority of the population to support it that would be the most favorable to be aligned with it. Which would be those claiming to be democrats (roughly 26% of voters) and independents (roughly 48% of the voters). They are stuck in an illusion of managed perception that this party can't win. Even though we proved that theory wrong with Bernie Sanders, who ran on only grass roots donations. If these people were to unite behind the Green's as we did for Sanders we could rid the country of the 2 party establishment. If we were to just get even the presidential candidate in as a show of unity this party would grow throughout the country. My argument is that once you show main street business and the many millionaires we have that don't agree with our present politics, that they'll begin to fill the many spots open around the country to help spread the party. Main street business are one of the hardest hit on taxes and healthcare for their employees, outside of the upper middle class who also are hit hard on taxes. When they give out large tax cuts for the most wealthy, these 2 types of people and businesses see their taxes go up the most. But my theory is that they aren't going to stick their heads out there to be chopped off until they see a serious movement take off. The ignorance of the 2 party supporters are indeed the only problem holding our country at hostage! And they seem to be unable to pull themselves from the infighting long enough to figure that out.

Causing the public to lose concern and not become informed. rogerbenham simply made a statement of knowledge, where you took it to another step. His reply doesn't offer me a rebuttal where yours does. I'm simply offering up a discussion on the diversity of the subject to bring minds towards a unity with intent to inform. Your reply offered me an opinion on my views about the media. I exploited it. I'll ask, what concern to you is it? Are you part of that public that is relatively unconcerned? Or would you like to see this covered more to raise concerns in the political arena? I personally would like to see it in repetitive mode along with the shit that media uses to divide us. That same shit we get year after year with no substance that never get any meaningful attention on the floors of the congress and senate. I feel this subject is more worthy of that repetitive mode. I personally haven't heard of this, and i find it interesting. Which is why I also attempted to add to the discussion by adding another issue in the same field of permafrost about viruses.

William_Mary replies on Nov 11, 2018:
@Heraclitus with all due respect, you're contradicting yourself. While I'll agree the media lives on ratings, it also lives more so on advertising from corporations that place adds on their programs. One group of the wealthy rubbing shoulders with another group of wealthy to support each other within an agenda. When a fairly large amount of those corporations are responsible for the climate change in one way or another, the last thing they want is an informed public that might tend to demand our politicians begin taking action. If the media aspect of those 2 wealthy groups begin to voice mass attention towards what the other wealthy group does , the corporations, to cause harm to the environment, which would risk them removing their adds which provides their major means to survive. The last thing these corporations want is an informed public crying out for something to be done that might hit their profits. Therefore the media isn't going to take that risk, because it's already a planned agenda for these 2 entities to work together. You can't have public awareness of certain situations if the media doesn't cover it. Therefore the public is ignorant. You've already admitted that to a degree. Which is a very large part of not only our political ignorance in this country, but issues like this also. When you learn that we are systematically being managed by the system, you begin to see it's application in other aspects of our society. This is one of those outside the political realm.

Only him ridiculing the establishment, " However, from the perspective of the status quo and the establishment, our electoral system is 100% healthy." Trump is the illness/result of the symptoms we've been getting for nearly 5 decades. What is your ideal of status quo? To me that's like, make America great again. When was America great? We have a long history saying we aren't so great. From the times of our very first president, he also, have been giving us warnings of that entity that will always be attempting to destroy any real means of democracy for the benefit of a few. Many of our past presidents have repeated this warning over time. Right up to our last one, Obama. He spoke of it coming in, and just recently at a collage spoke on it after he was out. While coming in he took their money. While in he gave them our money. Now out he mocks us as though we forget what he's done as he gives us a meek warning of those he supposedly went in to fight against. Then made them a part of his administration like all others before him. Those he now rubs shoulders with as he parades around the world filling his bank accounts with their money, our money, as he does speeches and parties with them. My agenda here is to help people understand that the status quo will not change unless we all unite and leave it. Turn our backs on it and unite under a party outside the status quo. My personal preference at this time is the Green Party. Peace.People. Planet.

@Xanadutoo if you go through the videos at Empire Files though, you can actually put more of a westernized collaboration into much of her work. Such as the Palestinian issues and Latin American issues. I think one of the biggest mistakes being made today is the fixation on us here in the US. You can't possibly believe our government is the sole problem of empire building and colonialism when we have other countries working hand in hand with us around the globe. The term westernized society isn't made for us alone and others came well before our time started. These intelligence agencies are all working the same game and for the same agenda with each other to destabilize the world in areas they want control over. I will argue we are merely being used as the military might and the currency controllers of the world. Someone had to be that place and we got elected for it. But we aren't the only country with ruling oligarchs. And I will also argue they are all working together against us all. Our problems here are also spreading in your country also. And around the globe. Make no mistake about it, concentrate on us to much and your part of the problem will end up biting your ass just as bad. We on a worldwide basis need to unite and see this as a global effect, not a by country issue.

He goes on to make millions now while they get a new corporate playmate. Being she started flipping the day after winning the primary. I started going through the list of democratic winners this morning. Common traits. Military, intelligence, worked with and for other politicians in their area, took big money during their campaigns, so basically we got a group already established in the status quo from most of them.

If you knew Chris Hedges you wouldn't make such an assumption. I don't remember reading any such claim in the article, even after another quick read. One line that should have given you pause on that statement>>"The elites, Republican and Democrat, belong to the same club. We are not in it." But if I missed something, please direct me to that quote. The narrative of the article might help you with keeping up with its intended purpose. If you actually read it? Seems you didn't. Being it's agenda is geared more towards understanding that this blue wave was merely another managed perception for false change that will not come from this new class of candidates if elected. Why about half our population don't vote. How friendly fascism has worked its way into our country. And how our media is more a propaganda tool against us today. I'm fairly certain that at no place within the article is there an assumption that the GOP is corruption free. Or would Hedges or myself ever make such an idiotic claim when we both share an agenda to inform the people of our country that both parties serve the same people. And we aren't those people.

Yea, I don't know. When you consider the vast coalition of countries having already wiped out half the Middle East, have a hand in right turned South America, and half of Latin America, in the process of swallowing Africa and are at the present moment turning their own countries hard to the right, you don't think we have a desired need to worry? I'm fairly certain Hitler would be proud to see his vision of world dominance coming to an almost full fruition about now. When I look at the whole picture they are basically controlling the entire planet to a good degree. Markets, economies, peace, resources, and before long? the internet. In which would take away our only means to communicate with each other of our dissent. Since Trump has become president the US and Europe have taken a giant step to the right. With both attempting to take away rights and move towards austerity measures. I would argue we here in the US have been under those measures since 9/11. Our state and local governments have gone to shit. Losing federal funding in about every aspect you can think of. Our healthcare goes down hill more each year with about a 20% increase each year since the ACA kicked in. There are sporadic wars spread out through Africa that aren't making the news, endless war in the Middle East, and constant threats of war around the globe. The westernized coalition have their noses up everyone's asses. There aren't all these protest going on around the globe for no reason. We have a real problem that is growing like a wild fire out of control and it seems we have no water in the area to fight it with. And I refer to my common argument now. Which is that most people are stuck in an illusion fighting it from within a broken system. One side thinks they are winning by supporting the system moving us to the right, and they other side thinks supporting their side to fight it is actually on their side, when its not. Any anything progressive is being shut out by propaganda lies and the old school fearful cries of communism. That being supported by the main stream media, or not. Or not? Because they will not cover the truth about progressive politics either. They are in compliance to the agenda of their rich owners. And they get paid well to do so. I give you Robert Parry, who has told us that for decades and why he left main stream media. Make no bones about it, we are fighting for our lives and this planet. And it's never been more evident then now!

I highly suggest you read the Memoriam written for him to get a feel of how important his work was. https://consortiumnews.com/2018/01/28/robert-parrys-legacy-and-the-future-of-consortiumnews/ Highly notable for his work on the Iran-Contra affair. This site is a gold mine with over 2 decades of articles in its archives. I sometimes get lost in reading for hours here. You can learn a lot about our government corruptions and dealings around the world with this information. Truthout - https://truthout.org/ I rarely have a complaint about information or get a sense of towing the party lines from these writers. Common Dreams - https://www.commondreams.org/ They have a group of great writters, and they have a few that tend to tow the party lines. I've been following this site for several years. Once you get the sense of reality of good information you can see when a writer is writing for the wrong agenda. One of the best things about this site is the comments section! I know of no other news site that has as many participants in a comments section as CD has. And they don't hold back from calling bullshit on the few writers that tow the line. MintPress News - https://www.mintpressnews.com/ This is a good site to keep up with the middle east. To date I've never found an article that has been misleading. And I've been following this site for a few years now. teleSUR English - https://www.telesurtv.net/english/index.html This is a good site to keep up on Latin America issues. Although its main base is in Venezuela, often falsely claimed to be a government owned news source of Venezuela. But it's actually also funded by the governments of Cuba, Nicaragua, Uruguay, and Bolivia. Another good site for Latin America is Venezuelanalysis - https://venezuelanalysis.com/ More coming.

William_Mary replies on Oct 26, 2018:
Free press? I would argue it's not so free when it serves an agenda set by its rich owners that control and manipulate what comes from it. As in the article, our founding fathers gave the press a freedom to be essentially the forth estate as a check and balance to serve the people. It no longer fills that requirement. When to the press those infants being ripped from their parents are used for the benefit of making money and to rile up the masses in a means to divide the people of 2 parties, it's disgusting. When they constantly, on purpose, leave out the reasons of these peoples plight as to why they're coming here over the past 4 + decades, it's proof there's an agenda to the coverage. Same as with this caravan in the news daily. You don't get any information on why they are coming, you get a substance lacking propaganda filled story of the agenda they want you concentrate on. Which the supporters of these establishment 2 parties can then mindlessly bicker over in ignorance. While the main stream media has you concentrating on the agenda, have they once informed us that these people have the right to come here seeking asylum? In which they can only do so when they get to the border. Yes I would know. My independent news sources wouldn't allow that to happen without a full story. Compared to the partiality we get from the "free press". See, I know the full story. These people are coming, have been coming, for decades. They have been coming in small groups for the most part for decades. This particular group is coming so large for safely reasons. Why are we being beat over the head this time? Because the mid term elections are coming up and they are being used to prop up and magnify the divide in this country. Why have they been coming here for decades? Because since the 50's we have been going into their countries and supporting coups of democratically elected governments that didn't conform to the agendas of the westernized world. In which corruption, austerity measures, oppression, gangs, and human rights violations began to run rapid. I don't know where you want me to go with the Flynn, Cohen, Manafort machinations statement. They got caught breaking some fraud, money laundering, and tax laws that the DOJ failed to do its job on. Flynn didn't expose some contacts and work done with Russian companies when being brought into the Trump administration. Another job the DOJ and chairs on the committee failed to do during confirmations. I will say it nice to know you don't trust our government either! I'd suggest you work on questioning your main stream media also. With all due respect.

While the shrills on the left have been trapped in the managed perception that Trump and the Russian government colluded to get Trump his victory, they either ignored or are ignorant to the information that Trump hasn't been so good to the Russians in many ways. We expelled many of their diplomats, if not all of them, from the country. We in a coalition effort bombed a airbase with Russian planes on it in Syria over a false chemical weapons claim, possibly killing some Russians, places sanctions on Russia, which keep expanding, allowed Israel to shoot down a plane of theirs killing more Russians, who's knows how many more are dead in battle with our terrorist funded groups, yet they have spent 2 years saying Trump isn't tough enough on the Russians. Oh yea. And we have moved missiles closer to the Russian border against set past treaties. I guess they want a full blown nuclear war!?! Go figure.

It's within the confines of a paragraph about Central America that is off topic to this post. So I have no clue how to address you're questions on Central America, an operation, or cost. I have explained that to you on more than one occasion. How about you explain yourself. Feel free to explain to us how there was any Russian collusion to the nature of the claims provided by the DNC and Clinton, any news organization or journalist, or any politician! After 2 years of investigating this matter no one has been indicted or been brought to court on any type of collusion between Trump and the Russian government. Or having hacked the DNC data base. Involved with our affairs? That's a whole different issue to the case of collusion of the Russian government with Trump to win the election or hacking the DNC data base. Please separate the 2! Why would anyone even begin to fathom that the Russians don't get involved with our affairs! Of course they are involved with our affairs! That's what governments do. Politicians from other countries are always involved in a vast number of aspects of affairs with each other. That's doesn't mean they collaborate to win positions on an illegal basis. @Seeker3CO the Green Party has almost the same exact platform Bernie Sanders had. Off hand, the only difference is that the Green Party advocates for a major turn towards job creation via green alternatives. Moving the country to wind and solar energy would highly rescue the country from the real employment crisis they don't tell you about when they spew out the false 3.9 unemployment rate. Along with infrastructure rebuilding also. Another newish agenda would probably entail rebuilding the corrupt EPA which Trump has taken to its worse levels. And it wasn't all that great before being its been riddled with corruption for decades. I would argue that the Green Party is about as socialist as we can get without the word socialist in its title or spoken agenda. But then today many of these groups and people spewing out the work socialist are fakes with no real concern for the working class.

William_Mary replies on Oct 13, 2018:
Support the people. They have no guilt on them for the relationships of past history that they have been paying the price for. While I'll agree Assad has a fault from playing the game with the devils of the westernized world, he doesn't deserve the illegal atrocities being committed on him and his people that are being waged on them. When their only fault is that as Iraq and Iran, being placed over large reserves of oil. This game has been played over the course of decades by outside interference in which each of these countries have been befriended, used, abused, then befriended again, leading to demonized as an end game. What makes Saudi Arabia so special? Another country of that region in this very game. When there is considerable evidence they financially supported the 9/11 attacks, are well known to be one of the most horrific human rights abusers, that we would and do crucify other countries on, often on a false narrative we make up, yet as with those countries we once worked with when it was in our interest, Saudi Arabia is getting a pass. As in Trump's own admittance just the other day, we should give them a pass for supporting the murder of nearly 3000 people in our country because they spend a few hundred billion buying our weapons. You now have a price on what your life is worth. You've just became a measure of worth to the westernized global agenda, and can be sacrificed at anytime for it with no fault to anyone for allowing this relationship to continue. For what Assad is worth, we should be thanking him for playing a part in showing the world what our westernized governments and the main stream media are, then handle the past history accordingly where necessary. But we can't get to that point when we are being managed to think a world leader somewhere is something they managed to make us think he or she is. We have a much larger problem to solve first to get there.

The writer is making that very point. This is one of my main arguments of the managed perception in the US of those so against socialism. As they are trained to turn their attention to mainly those 2 countries as a reference. The writer gives a good example of how he sees Russia and China both used their false version of socialism to benefit imperial building. Not for the good of the workers and nation as a whole. The Russian revolution of 1917 never really had time to advance. It was quickly over taken with the help of outside influence. So you're right, Russia was never really a socialist country as it was so titled. Or China being both countries falsely use title towards imperialism.

The Clinton's definitely owned the DNC leading up to the 2016 election cycle. She managed to take full control of all operations, including donations. She created a Hillary Victory Fund that is thought to have laundered 84 million from state donations directly to her campaign. Law suits are pending but we're getting little information about them. I would argue that party is the Green Party. Which has strength in many places outside the US. I would also argue it can be done by simply referring back to the 2016 primary and consider how Bernie Sanders was taken to the top on grass roots support and only grass roots donations. The same can be applied to the Green Party. I also believe if the people in this country would stand up it would draw in the many millionaires and billionaires who disagree with the current capital system that create a huge inequality gap in our society. Drawing in more intellect and understanding power source. The real challenge is to draw everyone stuck in the managed perception that a 3rd party can't win illusion the establishment politicians and media have them trapped in.

@rogerbenham he ask us supporters of his to support the very entities he was to be fighting against, for one. As the primary cycle came to a close, it was discovered he made a back room deal with the Clinton campaign to go light on her. Then it was also disclosed via leaked emails given to Wiki Leaks that the entire DNC worked with the media to limit debates, work against Sanders, also limit his exposure, leak debate questions to Clinton, have the media propel Trump to the front of the republican party. This eventually lead to DW Shultz to resign bringing in Donna Brazil. Who communicated these things to Sanders before the primary election, who said nothing publicly and went on as nothing had happened. He has the balls to then ask us to support a rigged election against his own movement!?! When we Sanders supporters filed a law suit against the DNC, their lawyers argued in court they were not bound to hold a fair and unbiased primary cycle. And fucking won. And all money we donated to Sanders went to the DNC and Clinton in the end. If that wasn't bad enough, Sanders then climbed of the Russian false narrative of them hacking the DNC. While more tangible evidence indicates the DNC information that came out was a leak from inside the DNC, not a hack. The information from the DNC was received to fast to be a hack from an outside source. It was downloaded onto a device like a thumb drive from a DNC data base. If Sanders chooses to run again, he has lost a vast majority of his real supporters. He became part of the corruption in many of our eyes with his silence of everything that went down during the primary cycle. The above isn't even going into all the shenanigans that went on during the election nights during the primary from day one in Iowa! Voter purging, Sander delegates being locked out of back room talks during caucuses, chaos at caucuses, running out of applications at caucuses then providing voters with false information turning them away. He never stood and voiced his concerns at any point during the entire primary cycle for his supporters. Then joined the machine at the end.

William_Mary replies on Oct 8, 2018:
We have a systematic agenda here by our politicians and media to deny any 3rd party coverage. And with what little coverage they do get, it's relatively short with an agenda to humiliate and degrade a candidate. Using false narratives or distorted facts the media and establishment politicians purposely spread to reduce any potential interest in a 3rd party. These especially apply to the Green Party. Here's the big catch though. Everyone in the US understands that the 2 establishment parties have created an electoral system that only serves those 2 parties. So the next and last part in that agenda is to manage a perception that a 3rd party can't win. And the people who support that corrupt system by continuing to participate in it vastly fall in line with that false narrative. Often also using that as a reason they will not switch from their corrupt party. On the other side, my side, I give you Bernie Sanders, as an example that theory is indeed false. As a 2016 candidate he took no money from corporations, pacs, etc. His campaign was solely supported by the commons. I witness republicans and independents switch party affiliation to vote for this guy. I will argue the same support for the Green Party can and would change the political corruption in our country. A party with a platform that almost mirrors, closely resembles or comes relatively close to what 26% of our democratic registered voters and 46% of independents voters claim to support. Yet they are stuck in that illusion to bravely take our country a different direction.

@Rob1948 your attention span is quite disturbing. It's beginning to lead me towards understanding your lack of ability to relate other aspects of politics, in this case, a politician, to more than just the the subject at hand. Being political issues are so diverse. Which is why you refuse to see the right leaning tendencies of Sanders to be a measure to evaluate. jorj brought into the discussion of right leading when he claimed "Bernie doesn't stand for right wing policy." That is merely an opening for me to announce that Sanders does display right wing tendencies. Whether you want to agree with that is your choice, whether be it to reflect on as a possible conclusion, or debate its semantics. As far as the thread goes, you might want to scroll up and take a look at the original posters name and then compare it to mine. You might find they are the same. I had no problem with your reply that lacks any real substance to the threads intended inquiry towards the DNC actions. Being I find your reply to be simple democratic partisan rhetoric that was used during the primary to degrade Sanders run in 2016. Yet you want to attempt to belittle me for simply adding another opinion as I follow through on the path the discussion was leaning us towards. Parameters!?! For one to set parameters within such a diverse topic as politics as you would seem to want placed, open discussion and opinions are therefore voided in many cases. In which my intended goal for this group would be useless and could be seen as a mere attempt to a type of dictatorship. Yes, not only did I start this thread, I am also the group owner. I am also the original thread starter of probably over 99% of the post here. If I was to set any standards of parameters here, my goal to share independent news sources to draw people out of the illusion of the main stream medias biased fake news would be contradictory. I would then be guilty of attempting to provide the same manage perception leading to a controlled attention span you now have me thinking you may be trapped in. I have no intentions to control what people here can say while sharing their opinions, or while redeveloping their opinions, which is my main cause here. As I attempt to draw people away from the empire building the westernized coalition is conducting and using us for.

It's an old strategy from centuries ago Deno. Surround the occupiers and starve them out, into surrender or until they are forced to fight. This makes it quite easy. Releasing the bugs on farmlands with the actions of sanctions in the beginning. Look at Venezuela for an example. We, the westernized coalition, and main stream media, have falsely created a narrative that the democratic elected government there are the sole reason that country is in hardship, and that the people there want a change. When the truth is that a vast majority of the people there support their government. And it's hardships are the effects of actions taken by the westernized coalition have been the leading cause of their problems. From getting the Saudis to flood the market with oil, monetarily supporting their aristocrat opposition to the government, purposely creating rioting for the media to falsely create a narrative of public discord, add a coalition of sanctions, which leads to the corporate sector that the aristocrats still control to manipulate the production of products within the country also leading to currency manipulation. I have posted Abby Martins video on this a number of times here that details about every aspect I just mentioned. The people of Venezuela are purposely being staved in many aspects of an economic valued system. Despite that the government is still able to provide for its people against these odds. All that would be left to do is to cripple their farming! And the westernized coalition would have little empathy towards the people there by having the opposition fulfill that action by spreading this virus to get back control of their country. The world wants their oil! It doesn't give a rats ass if the people are fed!

What justifies this spending? Russia. Be very skeptical what you are fed about Russia as this paranoia is needed to justify big military spending. An enemy is needed, real or imagined. WTF would Russia invade Europe? It's not to spread communism, the USSR is dead.

In this part of a 12 part series Paul and Prof Buzgalin discuss that very issue. https://therealnews.com/stories/is-putins-rule-a-dictatorship-rai-with-a-buzgalin-8-12 And thank you for the compliment. I love when someone calls me a conspiracy theorist in that manor. I guess you haven't learned yet how the CIA promoted that action through use of the main stream media.
