WonderWartHog99 comments on Jun 27, 2019:
"*In a dissenting opinion, conservative Justice Clarence Thomas wrote that the decision to add the citizenship question was “legally sound” and described the ruling against Trump as “an aberration.” * He missed the point that the census could be used by law enforcement for deporting illegal residents, thus screwing up decisions where tax money would be spent and causing other problems with an inaccurate counting of heads.

WonderWartHog99 comments on Jun 27, 2019:
Trump followers have no interest if following the news because they think it's boring fiction. They think of "reality" shows show are **reality.** Therefore after watching Trump on his reality show, they came to think he could do no wrong. They saw him as a wise, powerful and insanely wealthy businessman. Therefore, with scant information about him they voted for him in great enough numbers to elect him. Because they don't watch the news, they don't know what he is. They'd watch the late night comics explain the absurbity of Trump but they don't stay up late. The basic problem of representative democracy is **idiots vote.**
Good news all.

Before getting thrown out of more Christian discussion groups than anybody, it used to amuse me to see them arguing about who's bible to quote from. I held out for a bible called *Good News for Modern Man.* That was because it was written in modern English with very few footnotes when compared to other older bibles, especially the King James version. Nobody bought my preferred bible. I find it ironic to find similar argument along the same lines on dictionaries in this group. Why the Devil's Dictionary is the **best** one! I don't think anyone in here will buy that claim. 👿👺😖😫
Anyone ready plan? travelling with me ? Thankyou 🙏
WonderWartHog99 comments on Jun 23, 2019:
I see you're from India. I'm not planning any travel there because of the expense of taking an airplane trip to India from the United States. I could offer to put you in the back seat of my late model car for my fall road trip along the ridges of the mountains on the Blue Ridge Parkway. It runs 649 miles or 1,056 kilometers. Petunia and I expect to use our camping gear along the route. The expense of traveling from India to Seneca, South Carolina, (it's where I live) with your own camping gear might scare the hell out of you.

WonderWartHog99 comments on Jun 22, 2019:
As **long as you're gambling** casinos will give a person **free drinks.** That got me to thinking of an evil system for playing roulette. 1) Walk in with $100. 2) Bet $1 either red or odd. You could bet either green or even. Doesn't matter. 3) Wait to lose your dollar. 4) Double down on the same bet. 5) Continue to double down until you win. 6) Tell 'em you need a refill on your drink. 7) Bet a dollar on the same spot. 8) Repeat steps 2 through 7 until either you're too drunk to walk or lose your $100. The catch with this system is roulette tables have zero or an eagle. Some casinos have double zeros or double eagles. Once they come up, you lose your bet. Over the long haul it'll come up often enough to defeat the system. The evil fucks will cut you off from serving you another drink at a certain point. One time I wrote a computer program to find out how long it would take to either win $1,000 or lose the hundred dollars. I found out you won't win the $1,000 but the odds favor you will win more $100 and get drunk. Additionally, you could be sitting at the table for **days** until the house numbers take the $100 away. Just a question of how wasted you want to get and at what point will you walk away with winnings. Casinos will get around to throwing anyone out who keeps using a "winning" system. Don't tell them about me.
Woke up like this😁 Good morning from Philippines 🇵🇭

"What is the difference between nescience and ignorance? "In particular: Thomas Aquinas wrote in Summa Theologica the following: "Ignorance differs from nescience in that nescience denotes mere absence of knowledge. Therefore, whoever lacks knowledge about anything can be said to be nescient about it; in which sense Dionysius puts nescience in the angels. On the other hand, ignorance denotes privation of knowledge, i.e. lack of those things that one has a natural aptitude to know." The pros and cons of being single! Just ran across these today.
WonderWartHog99 comments on Jun 20, 2019:
My first serious back packing trip as an adult was in the Grover Cleveland National Forest. I slowly lumbered up the side of Mount Kong, a foothill with ambition, one summer until I reached the summit on the southern end of the Pacific Crest Trail. Except for the weight of an overnight backpack, it’d been an easy summer hike in the sagebrush with kites and other bug eating birds soaring along the updrafts. When I got to the top, I pitched the tent and settled into cooking with a wholly inadequate canned heat stove. The blue flame from the cup cake size can of flammable jelly can get a teacup’s worth of water boiling in an hour and a half. Luckily, I wasn’t expecting company for the meal. Nobody except me would complain if the meal was late. The day’s trail was paying off. The LBB (little brown birds) swooped down hundreds of feet to the valleys below. There was a desert landscape on one side of me, an ocean to the other. Scarlet began to light the sky as the megalopolis of San Diego began to light up street lamps far in the distance. Even further, there was the haze of the Pacific Ocean. The two lane black top that I’d departed from changed to a thread with match light size specks of car lights on traveling it. Lakes reflected the gasps of twilight. Peace settled over me. Then I started wondering why I didn’t bring a gal. Hey, cheap digs with exotic new sights to see and me without a girl friend. Resolved: it is the inherent nature of humans to want to share or at least trade up. There I was, alone surrounded by the changing worlds of light and darkness high in a bowl of sky. I paused as the intergalactic drama of the dance of celestial beings in vast and incomprehensibly regions of the cosmos crept into the sky, dim and twinkling. Darn. Just me and a boiling cup of water. I ought to have more interesting companions than just myself. I started thinking I needed to trade up on that experience. Maybe get somebody to share it with.
EPA rolls back Obama-era plan limiting coal-fire power plants.
WonderWartHog99 comments on Jun 19, 2019:
Won't mean much. The untold story is coal powered plants are **more** expensive to run than the ones that run on natural gas. Additionally, alternative renewable sources are now cheaper than coal powered plants. Coal is on it's last legs. They'll be getting rid of coal plants because of the expense of running them.
Here is something for math nerds as well as word nerds.

All for prayer in school, as long as EVERYONE is included
WonderWartHog99 comments on Jun 19, 2019:
There are prayers in school as an after hours activity. At my old high school, a group tried to have a satanic prayer group but failed to raise the required numbers of interested students. There is "pray around flag" before school but it's not held **inside** the school. Considering that there are more churches than schools in this country, I consider the whole issue silly.
