Its nice to find a site like this. (Thanks li'l bro) I have hopes. So here's a little background.

Many many years ago I had a belief in God. I wasn't ever a big churchgoer but I had a belief system. Over the years I became more agnostic as I got very interested in how our universe works. Long story short, I would rather romanticize the notion we are all children of the stars. I mean it was from there from which we all came to be. Let's see? 4 1/2 billion year old earth and evolution or 6000 yr old earth and religion? This wasn't the straw that broke the camel's back though. In 2011, my 16 yr old niece collapsed at work. She was later diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor. The kind usually only older people get. She fought a valiant fight for 3 short years before it finally took her. I was with my brother at Children's Hospital for a few of her surgeries. To walk into that hospital and see all these babies, toddlers and children from 5 to 18 (along with my niece) fighting cancer and other various diseases was almost more than I could take. What kind of God does this?! Everyone, including my nieces mother would say its "Gods plan"! Gods plan? God's plan to make these children suffer and die? To take them away from their families so early in life? To destroy the people left behind? Why would a God do this? If there is this "eternal life" then why wouldn't a God let them enjoy 75 or 80 years on this planet before taking them to this eternal life? It's a drop in the bucket in this grand scheme, right? Yeah, wrong I think.
Ok, so I got that out of the way

A little more about me. I'm 5'9" and 160lbs.. fit and looking for the same. I work for Union Pacific railroad as a Locomotive Engineer (yes, I drive the train) I've been in this career for over 25 yrs. I love what I do and has afforded me to be able to do the things I like to do.
I love the outdoors. Camping, boating and fishing are my most favorite things to do. I do love my Harley as well I like to sing, love music and going to concerts.
I'd love to find someone to share those things with!
I'm fairly edumacated (please lol) and I can carry on a good convo in a variety of subjects.
Humor is a must! Life is waay too short to be so serious. Negativity is my biggest turn off.
