Update: I will be moving to St. Louis in July.
I was born catholic, raised christian, and slowly became an atheist as I reached adulthood. Now I'm an outspoken activist who used to attend an Ask An Atheist booth every Saturday at Balboa Park. I love debate and intellectual discourse of all kinds. In engaging theists and refuting their arguments I've learned about biology, cosmology, geology, philosophy and so much more, I feel like I've learned more in the past year than I did all through high school!
I'm interested in meeting more atheists and hopefully finding a romantic partner. I'm getting really tired of meeting someone, hitting it off, getting to the end of a great night together and hearing her say, "I broke up with my last boyfriend because he just couldn't accept Jesus." Actually happened, really sucked, don't want to waste my time anymore. /sigh
My music tastes are eclectic, but I generally prefer different types of rock, techno and orchestra. I follow the Marvel Cinematic Universe but will watch DC from time to time. I'm an avid board game player, when I can find time and groups to play with. I don't take the opportunity often enough to just sit outside at night and stare at the stars, but every time I do I feel the same overwhelming awe at just how massive our universe is, and how it might just be one of countless other universes. To quote one of my favorite webcomics; "If there are an unlimited amount of earths, with unlimited amounts of possibilities, then billions of different realities exist. Though that theory is daunting in its complexity, I none the less hope that it is true. For if true, I comfort myself in the knowledge that there must be such a place... where Jesus is Batman."
