Reason is merely the God which we claim to reject by another name. In the name of Humanism, we claim to escape those moral strictures of a perfect God and instead bind ourselves to moral strictures of a perfect, idealised Human.

We can therefore only attempt to unmask that which is cloaked by Holy Reason and the Ideal Man as the same religious impulse we claim to reject. I embrace skepticism, but not the skepticism of epistemology, but rather a skepticism of ideology. No ideology is free from critique, but likewise no ideology is free from my use.
