They only met for 45 minutes, as sort of an ice breaker. It was mostly a grandstanding moment, to gain attention. Their diplomats have been quietly working in the background doing the "real" work, which they'll tell us about soon enough, since Trump wants full credit.

birdingnut comments on Jun 11, 2018:
Friend? Spouse? Do you mean your male friend is upset because you are friends with his wife, or is his wife upset because you are too close to her husband? If it's his wife, then you might have crossed some social line, met her alone, had dinner with her, gone to her house when he was gone, etc. In which case, he has a reason to be concerned. Real friends just meet up with other friends in public..no getting together in private, privately messaging.

It's the same thing..Everything is ultimately made of energy, and all energy is interconnected and communicates instantly. Plus time and space exist only in our minds. We all know this from before birth, but western Christian society typically works hard to suppress that in children and ridicule it.

Two days ago I joined a few Filipino friends for lunch here in Songkhla, and during the conversation I began talking about what Trump was doing to strip legal rights from the LGBTQ people, detaining brown-skinned people, persecuting minorities, approved by the Christians. The person I was sitting next to is a Filipino transmale, and his girlfriend, sitting across the table from us began yelling, commanding me to be quiet and to stop attacking Christianity. She said that they were Christians and she wouldn't "allow" me to say anything wrong about their religion. I was taken aback, wondering if her brain was functioning at all. I began to talk about how my US Christian friends had been posting hate memes on on Facebook, attacking minorities and the LGBTQ community, but she then began yelling at me, commanding me to stay off social media, and then I wouldn't see such things. I remarked that I didn't really want to hang with them anymore and stood to leave, so she said that was fine with her. Up to this point, I'd assumed that Asian Christians were more sensible than American Christians, but now I see they are just as willfully ignorant, preferring total denial.

birdingnut comments on Jun 11, 2018:
My kids and their friends used to play the Princess Bride nonstop, to my horror. I hated that movie..and the misogynistic, abusive ways of the character, Westley, in the movie. Every time they played it, and Westley was dragging Buttercup around and threatening her, I'd imagine how I'd take him out with one knee, and hoped my daughter wasn't learning to accept abusive behavior.

Could dark matter be a powdered dispersion of neutron star moving at relativistic speeds?
birdingnut comments on Jun 10, 2018:
Dr. Michael Baker and Prof. Joachim Kopp demonstrate that the universe may have gone through a phase during which the stable dark matter symmetry principle was broken, making it possible for the hypothetical dark matter particle to decay. During the electroweak phase transition, the symmetry that stabilizes dark matter would have been re-established, enabling it to continue to exist in the universe to the present day. The new mechanism they propose may be connected with the apparent imbalance between matter and antimatter in the cosmos and could leave an imprint which would be detected in future experiments on gravitational waves. They hope to find proof of their new principle at CERN's LHC particle accelerator and other experimental facilities. Read more at: https://phys.org/news/2017-08-theory-dark.html#jCp

Talking about depression doesn't help. High IQ creative people often have mental health issues because of the high rate of "mistakes" on high IQ DNA. Most high IQ people are also androgynous, with the advantage of being able to use both gender hemispheres of their brains, and the clash of opposite gender hormones can cause depression and panic attacks. When I began having depression and panic attacks in my early 40s, I quickly learned to take hormone balancing herbs like St. John's Wort among others, and eating fish. It got worse as my female hormones levels dropped past menopause, but I found that adding MX sarsaparilla and 5-htp to my regimen leveled out my hormone levels and stopped the symptoms. When I realized in 2014 that I was suffering from gender dysphoria, I discovered that taking a Thai herb, derris scandens, stopped dysphoria, along with dyslexia symptoms, made me feel calm and peaceful, and improved my eyesight.

The effects of Christian homeschooling - YouTube
birdingnut comments on Jun 10, 2018:
When I was still a Christian, I home-schooled my kids, but it was almost totally self-directed. My two toddlers began asking the phonetic sounds for the alphabet, so I casually sang the Sing, Spell, Read and Write phonics songs, seen for free on YouTube, and using the phonics song chart I copied from their workbook. My daughter was still two when she asked me this during a commercial in a movie we were watching. I felt annoyed, but quickly sang her the first phonics song, showed her the phonetic sounds for some of the most used letters, and she was reading simple words in minutes. By the time she turned three, she was reading 22-page books from the library and in a few more months, she joined her six-year old brother in taking turns reading pages from Little House on the Prairie during family read-aloud time. My son was reading children's books on astronomy by five, and began collecting quartz and obsidian rocks, and fossils at 18 months old. He carefully organized them in rows and didn't let me move them out of order. Both were fascinated by physics..they'd sit entranced during the 2- hour teacher recording blocks of programs on physics and science on the Kentucky Learning Channel. They were soon taking home 200 books from the local library every two weeks..I had to use a laundry basket to carry them. I had to keep taking them further afield to university libraries to find new material. Both loved "finding Mr. X" in algebra by five years old, and considered doing the problems a reward. Both my kids and I are very dyslexic. Because I have an Q of 140, and my husband got the highest exit scores in the history of our university, I thought that they did well because of their superior DNA. But when word got out that I was having success teaching with learning challenged children, parents began bringing me learning disabled and troubled children to have 40-minute classes, they learned just as rapidly, no matter how young, or how supposedly "retarded."

birdingnut comments on Jun 10, 2018:
One thing that delights me is how often I encounter opera music in popular movies and TV shows. For instance, one of the policemen on the TV series "Brooklyn Nine-nine," Skully, for instance, sings the most beautiful opera music it makes me cry. The show pretends it's for comic affect, but it's difficult to see how such a beautiful voice could be seen as humorous. One of the most striking examples is the opera piece in the movie, The Fifth Element, which used music from Gaetano Donizetti's Lucia di Lammermoor: "Il dolce suono," Act III, Scene 2, sung by Albanian soprano Inva Mula, Fifth Element - Diva Plavalaguna song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XuBU-i75kFs=RDwOiB7XJoi70=4

I had another incident today..when visiting with several Filipino friends I'd not seen in a while, I began telling them about Trump's election, what he was doing to the LGBTQ community (two of them are LGBTQ) and how I'd now rejected Christianity and was against it. To my surprise, one of the girls rose and angrily "forbade" me to say anything bad about Christianity. She said they could believe what they wanted and she didn't want to hear anything negative about it. Then she commanded me to stop going on social media and hearing all those bad things. I was stunned at her total lack of logic, since she is the girlfriend of a transmale. But I did decide to avoid them from now on. Up to this point I'd been distinguishing between American and Asian Christians, but I can see they both lack logic and want to live in denial.

Religion or belief in a deity
birdingnut comments on Jun 9, 2018:
They ARE acting like the Hebrew god of the Bible, who rained fire and brimstone on anyone who annoyed him, ordered people stoned to death for picking up a few sticks on Saturday, told parents to stone their children to death if they were rebellious, told the leaders to slaughter all men, women, children, and animals of tribes who didn't immediately surrender to them. Also, parents were allowed to sell their daughters as slaves, and even in the New Testament, women are commanded to wear veils, stay at home and have children, obey their husbands, and never talk in church. Slaves were ordered to obey their masters. The Bible is a sick, misogynistic book.
So, is there a rant that I can word poorly to piss people off tonight?
