Well, one group is God's chosen people. I still have a feeling, though, that the atrocities in Palestine are due to a feeling that God has left them to take care of their own survival rather than they are entitled to commit atrocities because God wants them to live on that land.

@THHA I know from the Bible that the Hebrews were racist in their attitude toward the peoples who lived in Canaan. Their god told them to be. That attitude seems to have survived into the time of the Gospels where the negative attitude toward the Samaritans and the general Gentile world is made clear. It seems weird to think that the same Jewish racism is at work in our modern world. Perhaps it is, or perhaps it wouldn’t matter at all who was blocking their way back to the Promised Land and the return to the covenant between them and their god.

I was in a mental hospital for several months while a young man and was sent to what they called one of the 'bad wards' for disobeying an order from a nurse. I saw some lives there that were hard to justify, validate or whatever the right word might be. The picture that stayed with me made it very hard for me to relate to general notions like 'God is love' and 'nature is wonderful'. I was lucky enough to be able to make a ham-fisted attempt at finding meaning in life but some simply cannot.

@Amisja It was a cheap remark. A throwaway ad hominem. Your last comment is a real comment. Heartfelt. I have read quite a lot about the difficulties involved. There has been a push lately to allow social emotion to supersede the process of law and I feel sure that everyone would lose if such a thing happened. So I say we cannot claim that the social climate of previous times argued against a legal charge being made back then so we can justify it being made anytime in the future. Even though that isn’t what actually happened. Instead, we see an argument that a case can be made outside the law today for a case that wasn’t made inside the law at an earlier date. I feel her pain. I believe her. But the law must operate on a level higher than my feelings or anyone else’s.

I hoped this thread would be educational but it was like talking to Christians, all defensiveness and nastiness.
brentan replies on Nov 25, 2018:
@Olnoseven Well, it seems quite a few people don't know if the very long, convoluted method needed to be written about online. Some us clean our bums with soap and water and that's it. Perhaps you're not just being defensive about it but like the colon operation, you are very far up your own arse.

Just gotta' be hygienic.
brentan replies on Nov 25, 2018:
@Olnoseven I'm quite serious. I got some info just now on inner butt cleansing from porn actress: THE WATER ENEMA “Well I don't [clean my ass] in the shower,” Angel begins, insisting the best way to clean your ass prior to anal sex is with a water enema “on a towel on the floor in the bathroom,” where she then proceeds to “empty [her]self into the toilet.” How does a water enema work, exactly? A lot easier than you'd think, plus they're easy and safe to do at home. Starting at the drugstore, purchase yourself a standard water enema kit (which is usually more discretely named 'hot water bottle and syringe kit'. This should include a hot water bottle, a hose, a plug and a rectal tip. When you bring your kit home, fill the hot water bottle with water until it is roughly 90 percent full, which works out to roughly a liter to a liter and a half's worth of liquid. Then, close the bottle with the plug, fasten the hose to the plug (making sure the clamp on the hose is closer toward the bottom and closed) and finally, attach the rectal tip to the bottom of the hose. You might (scratch that, definitely) want to coat the tip in some KY jelly to assist in insertion. Now, head to the bathroom. Hang the hot water bottle (which should have a hook on it) on the showerhead. Then, lay down in the tub (for comfort, place a towel underneath you) and insert the rectal tip into your butt and open the clamp. If the water pressure is too strong, close the clamp, wait, re-open it and let the water work its way through you until the hot water bottle is empty. When empty, the objective here is to keep the water in your body for as long as you can. Three to 15 minutes is great, but this all depends on how often you've done this. When the water is in your body, rotate to help coat the entire colon in water. Then, as Angel so eloquently described earlier: empty yourself into the toilet. https://www.elitedaily.com/dating/properly-clean-ass-anal-sex-porn/1541343

@Olnoseven I once watched a video of porn actress explaining how she prepares for anal sex. It involved cleansing, diet and time for the body to expel faeces. There was no mention of cleaning inside the butthole.

I didn't read it all, and I don't really know the facts, but it does ring true about all administrations being guilty of the same. Maybe Trump's brazen admission of the motives can help spur the protests that are long overdue?
brentan replies on Nov 25, 2018:
I think you're right about how Trump's extremism has made the problems in politics manifest to any who wish to see it. I think it would such a waste of an opportunity for real change if the people just went back to the same old story.

@Freespirit64 I really don't know but one of the things about growing up in Catholic Ireland was that you got no sexual conditioning at all.
