I taught CPR in the 70s to hundreds of people, during the 5 years I was in the area, I don't know of one person that used or even had the opportunity to use the training. I only used it once, and that person was very glad that I had the training because no one else around did. When the paramedics arrived, she was in recovery and they were just taking vitals and transporting. So I'm all for AED placement BEFORE they are needed.
