They would do much better in Spokane or Yakima than where you are, The coastal range may or may not get warm enough. You're welcome to try I gathered almost 2 ounces of seeds, so it's not a question of wasting them.

I still have some datura seeds if anyone wants to try them this spring.

No, They are native to the desert SW, and will get up to 10 feet across in areas that have more water and nutrients, but are not problems of too many plants. They die back at first frost, I use them as an alternative food source for the green tomato hook worm as well as for the flowers.

That plant has had safety issues since the 1960s, Everytime there is a major problem, they sell it to another operator, but it is still the same plant. Take care and don't do anything strenuous, nothing that requires heavy breathing.

When the EPA put out thier first 10 worst polluted sites in the US, I had been swimming in 6 of them. Science was my thing back then.

@IrishTxJudy Super spicy has a tendency to cover up the flavor, and too many people put WAY too much salt. I try to get my fix at the casinos in Shreveport/Bossier city. They have spicy, but you can add more if you like it, so you can enjoy them however you like them. When I go home to SW La, you don't have much choice but super spicy at my relatives' places. I season with cayanne pepper, corriander, all spice, cloves, bay leaves and annise. (basicly pickling spices but in different portions. with a little habenero sauce added late in the boil. if I need to add salt, I'll use MSG instead. How about your taste.

Like most human "neat things" they probably discovered it by accident and when it worked, they just kept using it. But like squirrels, they didn't find everything they hid.

@Amzungu2 His girlfriend asked if he had any growing up pictures, we went through several large boxes of pictures, i told him he could have any that he wanted. I was moved by a lot of the one's he chose, since they were from trips that he and I took together. My ex was happy to let us go gallavanting across the country without her so we took some neat trips with tons of pictures. I was happy that the pics meant something to him.

@TheGreatShadow The only thig he got right was that 4 people could launch 10 minuteman missles, but that would entail compromise of the commmand post and an LCF and the eye in the sky that can override any unauthorize launch attempt. When the good doctor wrote his paper in 1977, the entire launch sequence was still classified Secret, so if he had released factually correct information, he would have been in jail.

@TheGreatShadow I worked on minuteman and that is bullshit, first of all there is no pal system installed on any stateside weapon they are only used on naval vessels and on weapons on foreign soil. They are only 4 digits and are stored in a safe in the nuclear munitions plant only to be installed when the weapons are sent out to be loaded onto aircraft. Minuteman has a 28 digit apha numeric launch authentication code with arming by keys inserted into the launch control console. someone blew smoke up that reporter's ass.

@TheGreatShadow 1. The actual password is changed daily and has been since 1951. And there is no single password. Depending on which one you are talking about it can be classified anything from confidential to Top Secret. There are more rumors sourrounding nukes than any other weapon system since almost everything about them has been classified at one point or another and quite a bit of it is still classified.
