I live across the street from one of the early voting locations in Dallas, It is one of the least used early voting locations, so social distancing and PPE is no problem. In the last 15 years I don't remember when there have been more than 2 other voters when I have gone in.

As someone that worked in the publishing industry, once the book has been typeset, the chance of stopping leaks of its contents are practically 0. We had a legal brief, from the time that the copy was in the computer, there were at least 20 attempts to get an advanced copy prior to release. Reporters called under assumed names trying to find out who did our recycling. One even climbed our fence and dug through our recycle. The firm we were printing for had never seen one of their products not be compromised prior to release. With a normal book there are literally hundreds of unaccounted for copies, not to mention press proofs, advance copies, and the hundreds more already in the pipeline to the sellers. Until the sellers get a cease a desist letter, addressed to them, they are free to sell all copies in their possession.

It's June 17 and I just had to turn on some heat in the house.

I'm going to call bullshit on "a very tiny number" of bad cops. In Baltimore not only did 56 officers step over an injured man, they resigned in solidarity with the bad cops. So in ONE unit 100% of the cops were bad. In Dallas when a cop murdered a man in his own apartment, the entire shift of cops for that section covered for her until the DA charged her, then they told her were to turn herself in so she would be immediately release. It is not just the officer that commits the crime that is bad, every officer that in any way covers it up or does not report it is just as dirty and just as corrupt.

I use 40% vinegar with citric acid added. Spray it on early on a sunny day. Poison Ivy will back down from it. Regular vinegar may control some grasses, but poured into the soil will kill all the beneficial insects and around 90 % of the good microbes.
