@BufftonBeotch I remember getting the polio vaccine, we had to drive to the next town over and stand in line for what seemed like forever. We had several kids in my town in iron lungs, the parents would build out buildings to house them, so they could have them at home and not in the hospital. There were also several people that had recovered and had to have braces and crutches to get around.

@Tejas I don't know where you get your information that banning books is widely accepted. I see some restrictions for the reasons you named, but hardly widely accepted banning. I don't know of ANY book banning that is widely accepted. Just because people ask to have a book banned, doesn't mean it has been. as for the anarchist cookbook "The Anarchist Cookbook, first published in 1971, is a book containing instructions for the manufacture of explosives, rudimentary telecommunications phreaking devices, and related weapons, as well as instructions for the home manufacture of illicit drugs, including LSD. It was written by William Powell at the apex of the counterculture era to protest against United States's involvement in the Vietnam War. Powell converted to Anglicanism in 1976 and later attempted to have the book removed from circulation. However, the copyright belonged to the publisher, who continued circulation until the company was acquired in 1991. Its legality has been questioned in several jurisdictions. " It is for sale on line by at least 6 vendors + amazon and for download on at least 3 vendors.

The 5 fences, one electric that had to be cleaned on a regular basis, was most certainly a dead give away that we were moving nukes inside the area. It was really just one more piece of AGE to get written up over.

@BD66 The private money was needed in part because the federal government hadn't provided enough funding. Congress allocated $400 million in March for election services, but that was just a tenth of what some officials said was needed. "Despite election officials basically begging our federal government for assistance, that money never came through," said Liz Howard, with the Brennan Center for Justice at New York University. "Congress really failed our election officials." With little action from Congress, the private sector, led by Zuckerberg and Chan, stepped up. The couple awarded $400 million to nonprofits for election assistance
