Steve Bannon arrested and charged with fraud - Axios

He can be currently pardoned at any time after the crime has been committed. He doesn't even have to admit guilt. to wit Nixon was pardoned for all crimes he might have committed during his presidency before a grand jury could even be impannaled.

@Flowerwall There are two issues here.1 Vitamin D defficentcy is a problem. No one is arguing this point and Drs are activiely seeking to find incidents of it and corrrecting and monitoring it in patients. People do need to get checked and not just start taking supplements. It has a high correlation in colorectal cancer, though cause has not been shown. It deserves and is recieving additional studies 2. Is it related to or causal to Covid-19 infection? This study opens the door to begin to study whether there is any correlation. It may be years before adequate studies have been done to establish this. Right now the study has not even been published much less peer reviewed. It is prudent to take all the facts into consideration before determining what course to follow. Remeber not ONE patient was examined in this study, no blood tests examined, no patient data examined, only general population data and then only in Northern European countries. I am not disputing the findings of the study, I am saying they lack in substansive value and pointing out the limiting factors. If you will remember there were previous studies that showed blood type a was more sussepatble, that children couldn't get it, that hydroxycloraquin was effective, that masks were ineffective all disproven, but taken as fact until they were peer reviewed and debunked.
Have a question to ask that is medical in nature, but I am NOT a medical professional.

Drs are beginning to reccommned it in record nmumbers in the US. More as a response to colorectal cancers than anything else. While no causal relationshipt has been proven, the correlation is high enough in individuals that preventative prescribing is prudent.

@Flowerwall The problem with the study, is that there is no data on individuals, only general population data/ There is no direct correlation yet. this is only speculation and most likely will not pass peer review without serious revision. General population trends do not always correspond to actual . . Until it is published in a reputable peer reviewed journal, I would not put much stock in the study. That does not mean to dismiss it, but give it little weight.

Things that look great today will make her want to barf tomorrow. Watch out for depression, both hers and yours. and maybe your dad too. It is natural and normal, talk when she wants to talk, let her rest anytime she wants to, if you need to talk, call me.

@tinkercreek They are, along with tomatoes, eggplant, Jimpson weed. The atropine in them could be a real problem for you.

@Redheadedgammy I'll have seeds, but they shouldn't be around any grazing animals. The belladonna alkoloids are halucinogenic and in large quantities can be poisonous.

imagine gardinas on steroids, but only for about an hour before they open, then about an hour after they open. You can sit and watch them go from a cigarette roll to a full flower in a matter of minutes. they are about 25 feet from my back door, and you can tell when they are blooming, that and the buzz of bees.

@freeofgod only once, I saw a bat on one once and the moth green moth from the tomato hook worm. That one was almost a given since I move the tomato hook worms from the tomatoes to the dartura, they do well on it and my tomatoes do well without them.

@Lorajay The two front doors were left over from the frontier days when travelers would show up seeking shelter. The second door was to a room that did not have access to the rest of the house so that you could provide shelter to the traveler without worrying about them being in the same house as you.

I can hardy believe how vibrant your lotus flowers are. Spectacular color. The Datura looks like it is taking off too, but didn't you say it was smaller this year than previous years?
glennlab replies on Aug 3, 2020:
In the past I've had as many as 150 blooms on one night. I've lost several the last few years, so I'll probably plant some more in a better location. They do best in full sun and I am getting less and less of that.

It is a pretty flower and I should have another in the morning and at least one more after that. They are very prolific bloomers with each flower lasting 3-5 days but it should continue to flower until the first freeze in late october or early november. The second year the first blooms should be early June if this one follows what mine have done in the past.

Regarding the statement about Pelosi taking office, I researched it and it's not true. Trump and Pence would be out of office but the House and the Senate would have to agree on who would become President, per the 20th Amendment.
glennlab replies on Jul 31, 2020:
Congress has acted under ther 20th amendment and the 26th amendment to provide for the presidential order of succession, if both the office of president and vice president become vacant, the Speaker of the House shall assume the office and nominate a VP subject to confirmation by the senate. This is not new, the line of succession used to be to the president pro-tem of the senate, but it was realized during the Johnson presidency that the pro tem was normally a very old man, often in poor health, that this was not really a smart thing to do.
