graceylou replies on Nov 9, 2018:
@kensmile4u I have actually considered a situation where I might become prey to a pet giant constrictor while handling it (though there is no likelihood I could hold a 120 lbs snake by myself because that is how much I weigh). I would carry a note stating that in no way should the snake be harmed if it has constricted me to death and to not try to pry me out if I were to be partially or fully ingested. I would put the snake’s life before mine. I don’t know if my instructions would be followed but at least I would try. I’m quite adept at handling non-venomous snakes and I would know better than to handle a giant constrictor that is hungry. Really though, a snake this size only eats may be every 2-3 months. It would not always be so ravenous. My biggest snake is only 6 foot long but with a large girth so she weighs around 20 lbs or so. She can constrict me to death still because she’s so powerful. But she’s very docile and adorable.

graceylou replies on Nov 8, 2018:
@Arouet I did not say the car exploded or if there were two cars. They said there were two explosions not specifically how they exploded. They said that the type of explosives could have been meant to be used for a car bomb. I don’t think we would really know the motive. I go to Festival Place a lot to see shows. I have performed there as well. I understand Festival Place was evacuated and a couple of shows were canceled for safety and to allow investigation. I could have been in the area at some point in time. One person can cause a lot of damage even with just a car or even a knife.

@Alvinsmama This is what Lestat looks like when he's not all curled up on his perch under the basking lamp. He is an Amazon Tree Boa so he's arboreal. ATBs are not for beginners because they are quite grouchy and their bite can be substantial (huge fangs but not venomous of course) and they require arboreal setups and higher humidity. But Lestat has never bitten me (yet). I have 16 snakes, 5 geckos, and 4 tarantulas. I have a Pueblan milk snake whose colours and patterns mimic a coral snake but she's a big chicken (totally docile, has never tried to bite).

@Kodiamus Open relationships are not all the same. The details would have to be worked out by the people involved. I’m not interested in being with someone just for sex. I will not have sex with someone I don’t know or have no sense of connection with. I may need to know someone for years before there is anything more. I’m in committed but not exclusive relationships. For me, a closed monogamous relationship is not natural and is suffocating. So yes, you can be open and have the relationship part.

I don't see a problem with it if the pets are ok with it. And nothing that is too restrictive or uncomfortable. Just for a short photo op it's not a big deal. My Belle loves any kind of clothing and would get excited when I hold up one of her outfits. Some pet costumes are made in the same design as...

@Minta79 Belle is a 40 lbs Boston terrier mix. She looks like a mini pit bull. I don’t dress up my other dogs. They are huge and hairy. But Belle is miss prissy with a drawer full of clothes. She dances for her sweater because she knows with the sweater on she can play outside longer.

I can answer this question the way I want to. Just as anyone else can answer this question the way they want to. Not everyone has to like other people’s rules. That’s not part of the question. And I’m not reading anymore reactive responses because I’ve heard all the excuses before.

graceylou replies on Oct 31, 2018:
@AdamHoople But when someone tries to show this they inevitably choose a larger curvier woman and label her true or real. There seems to be the implication that women who fit the “ideal” image more are not real. And the woman in the pic is probably still a model or at least she has a model type face. Someone less “pretty” as defined by ideals may still be considered unappealing no matter the body type. But we can go on all night and I don’t really want to. Suffice it to say I dislike terms like “true women” or “real women”. Have a lovely night.

@Shawappa44820 The question is about what rule I would make and I answered it. I don’t need to hear smartass remarks designed to piss me off. Besides, if I can make the rule then I can decide the consequence for breaking the rule, like death.

@AdamHoople Then it’s a true picture not a true woman (as opposed to fake or unreal woman). All women are true women unless they’re a cartoon or CGI. I know it’s not meant to offend.
Very easy costuming ideas using only a sheet.

I've seen male belly dancers before and I say, equal opportunity hooray! But I do also have to say, this sounds a lot like music I've danced to from Turkey.
graceylou replies on Oct 29, 2018:
American Tribal Style has a more folkloric leaning. The music is by Helm which is a California group. This song is quite a fusion of genres and origins. The video is missing the beginning of the song which is a malfouf rhythm typical in intros for Egyptian bellydance. Parts of this song are very much Balkan style. The lyrics I found out to be Bulgarian Roma.
I’m just going to revel in this while it lasts, which probably won’t be for long. Sigh.

@Qualia It's typical around here. Farm dogs roam loose. He was chained up because he kept leaving the property. This time he escaped his chain. I have four dogs (big chunky dogs) and I live on farm land. All my dogs are indoor dogs with a fenced yard to go out to.
