He had the standard list including health care, education, jobs, immigration, gun violence, etc. I said that, while I agreed that the items on the list deserved attention, I thought the most important item was probably not even on his radar. I think the single most important thing that Congress should try to do is to reinstate the fairness doctrine. Many people I have known for years, if not decades, and that I know to be fundamentally good people, are impossible to have a reasonable conversation with because they are working from a completely different set of "facts".
