That's the spirit just give up, I'm going to trade my Volt that I drive on electric 90% of the time in on an Ford F350 with dual wheels and thunderbolt grease slapper diesel V8 engine and then drive up and down the main street as long as I want to. And by the way any electric car that is running on power generated from a coal plant is still 90% more efficient than any internal combustion engine. No it's not the total answer but you have to start somewhere I also have solar panels and a wind generator.

I agree with everything said there but I do wish, being I have to commute to work at 5 in the morning that they use lights when it's dark and follow the traffic signals, they do not make good bumper stickers. (I have a particular cyclist in mind that likes to play chicken at an intersection I have a green light on a 5 Lane road.)

My daughter is a lead IT engineer at a medical firm in Oregon. We bought a IBM clone in 85 she helped me install the hard drive and as new processors came out change motherboards and do upgrades along the way she knows how to repair an older car being everything's OBD2 now plug and play troubleshooting makes it a bit easier she rides a motorcycle and does her own home repairs within reason. My current wife and I have rebuilt our post world war II cottage and I consider myself quite fortunate. We have a small solar/wind installation which covers a security system our internet capabilities and some of the lighting in the house, more to come later, at least we are not the dark during a power failure. Rome was not built in a day, they took a week or so off for saturnalia!😉

I just ran the test on my Chevrolet Volt looks like they beat Honda on this one with my remote inside the house I got into the car and shut the door the car locked after 30 seconds I pulled the door handle once the lock knob came up on the second pull the door opened. But boy gets pissed if I unplug the charge cable without unlocking it.

I use what we call an antenna if you look at the chimney the thing above it is an antenna if you'd like more information let me know. I just use spectrum for internet I watch broadcast TV. With my location I can get stations from Canada Erie Pennsylvania Detroit Michigan and Toledo in addition to Cleveland and Akron.

For my personal interest I'll stay in the US, went to Florida at the beginning of June to see the Everglades should have went 30 years earlier, we went by car and we took our dogs with us pet friendly hotels, supported the local economy and got 40 miles to a gallon. Wanted to drive the blue ridge parkway but it ended up raining so that was out. Adirondacks in the fall.
