Unfortunately, mental health awareness, rather than being addressed as it should be, in an educational sense, is being co-opted by the gun apologists as what needs to be fixed to stop many shootings. While this is somewhat true in some cases it is being used by them as a scapegoat excuse to avoid having to deal with mental health as an issue in & of itself. We need a more honest & balanced approach on this & we need it at all levels of society!
