I used to take Prozac and several years ago I took a trip to Estes, Co to attend a wedding. After a day or so, I managed to get food poisoning from a Jack-in-the-Box. I spent the next day recovering, but while trying to nap, I began to get very specific thoughts of suicide. I was startled by the impulse and realized it had been several days since last taking the Prozac. I immediately jumped up to find my supplement vials to down the Prozac. A few months later, I titrated off that shit. I gained a new understanding of the suicide impulse, but I am still amazed at how a biochemical imbalance can generate such a specific type of thought.
