After working as an engineer for 8 years, a reorganization put me back in the Quality Administration. Although I continued to do work as an engineer, they insisted on stripping me of my engineer title, saying the industry didn't classify anyone working in QA as an engineer. Shortly after that, a female operator sought to transfer into QA. That became a problem because as a member of the union, she got a lot more money than the other QA technicians. After a year of measly pay raises, the QA technicians (11 people!!) advised the company that they wanted to vote to unionize. They held the vote and they became part of the union. The company responded by transferring the QA manager to a BS job (basically a demotion) and put a real a-hole in his place... As if the QA manager had anything to do with how HR created the problem in the first place. Corporations have steadily worked to erode all the social contracts that had been in place for decades. Then they wonder why productivity has slipped. Not to mention the blatant nepotism and extremely unequal pay doled out to the privileged.

I'm not getting my hopes up. The assholes (like B.Maher) who complain about this case (saying it is weak and contrived) manage to disregard how Trump has evaded prosecution in the past by cheating. Trump AND his co-conspirators ALL need as much justice as can be brought to bear. In a system that is so corrupted by those who put partisanship over patriotism, whatever works is whatever works. If the system worked, he'd already be in a jumpsuit.
