China had previously closed down its wet market because of the risk of serious SARS outbreak, but still reopened it. For China to be so uncooperative in checking out the lab increases the suspicion, even if the science says no. Even if we find out the lab workers got infected, we can't know if it was from the lab or the nearby wet market. Or, they might have fallen ill from the flu. It may well be too late to prove it was a lab accident, what then?

@valentine4real China's behavior is reprehensible regardless of where it came from. China had previously closed down its wet market because of the risk of serious SARS outbreak, but still reopened it. For China to be so uncooperative in checking out the lab increases the suspicion, even if the science says no. Even if we find out the lab workers got infected, we can't know if it was from the lab or the nearby wet market. Or, they might have fallen ill from the flu. It may well be too late to prove it was a lab accident, what then?

My comment is, necessarily, mostly facetious given that people with more empathy than I have will go the extra mile to encourage the resistors to get the vaccine. However, the ugly truth is that about 25% will NOT get the vaccine no matter what, and these people will have blood on their hands. Ideally, they would incur the same penalty they'd wish on abortion doctors.

The steadfast refusal to revisit Brexit knowing so many people were misled shows how deeply Putin has recruited senior members of British government.
That Putin uses populism against the democracies against themselves speaks poorly of populist elections. After Brexit, Putin did the same thing to our country, installing his puppet, Trump.
