The trauma comes from assorted forms of sexual dysphoria from religious instruction or abuse from relatives. They lack sincere responsibility, honesty, curiosity, imagination, creativity, empathy and any sense of love. I expect it is pretty miserable being one, but most importantly, they have no qualms about fascism. They favor fascism with its simple-minded absolutist principles, or lack thereof. They are religious egotists, believing their dogma is the one and only ultimate truth, and everyone else is going to hell.

Um, ya think?? It appears that the Lincoln Project's campaign to discourage corporate funding of the GOP has succeeded quite well, for the current moment. Trump had trashed and destroyed the United States reputation around the world (What there was of it). Betraying the Kurds was horrific. Who could ever trust the US knowing the next election could bring about lasting fascism? That being said, my fantasy is that international purchases of goods and services in the Red States would also be curtailed. In other words, boycott the Red States. I'm not offended by the term cancel culture. Every legal means available to choke off Evangefascists finances should be pursued. They are degenerates morally, ethically, and every other way. The percentage of unaffiliated rises dramatically with decreasing age. We need to strengthen and embolden their resolve by funding academic non-believer groups.

Sadly, but for the connivances of GOP enablers, this opportunity was wasted. Knowing that these 'people' (Proud Boys and other white power fascists) constitute the greatest threat to the nations security would be assembled and initiating provocations, a large swath of them could have been summarily dispatched. Maybe it is better this way, but not for the dead officers. Perhaps some of the States will show how it is done, or not? Mainly, if the shooting isn't over, I hope the Trump supporters lose.

Trump's gross violation of the 14th Amendment renders all subsequent actions as contestable. In any case, pardons were meant to be a means of correcting injustice and righting wrongs. It was never intended to be a means of abetting criminal activity and probably some members of the judiciary would decide the pardons were invalid. With luck, we'll find out as it's likely those for Flynn, Stone and Manafort will be challenged.
