Yes .As a catholic I was forced to go to religious instruction and dreaded it . I always got in trouble for not going and this caused me to be unhappy and depressed . I had to memorize idiotic prayers .At the time I did not even question their validity.It was not until I got older that I realized they were nonsense. To prove the power of brain washing, 50 years later I can still remember word for word many of these prayers,yet I can not remember a telephone number

You can attain financial success from having common sense, not necessarily intelligence,because it is not how much money you make it is how much you spend .I see financial success as the ability to successfully manage your income ,not the amount of your income .Most people live above their means and are always broke even with high incomes .I always saved a large portion of my income and lived on much less than I made

In July of this year a group of Florida teenagers taunted a drowning man while filming his death .Instead of calling for help or trying to assist the man they could be heard laughing .The state of Florida does not have a law where a citizen is required to render aid or even call for help. There are probably other States which lack laws that can save people’s lives

On occasion over the years I have let my views on non belief be known to my 29 year old daughter but I never have asked her about her exact views on a God or her belief. I would not feel comfortable pushing her one way or the other. It is not really that important to me what she believes or does not believe

I have to have a plumber come rescue me tomorrow and it's gonna cost $90 an hour.

Plumbing is much easier than it was years ago due to all the prefabricated parts,fittings, flex braided hose, PVC pipe etc.A type of repair fitting called a Pushfit shark bite fitting enable all pipes to be but together without threading, soldering etc. I never have to call a plumber

I am happy I had the procedure as an infant and have always considered myself fortunate that it was done for reasons I prefer not to elaborate on .The majority of men do not complain of having the procedure or of having any problems being circumcised as an infant . On the other hand some men are reluctant to have it performed as adults. Having the procedure as an adult may cause problems,but negative results are rare when performed on infants

My 102 year old father has been drinking 1 glass of cheap wine each day for years.Research indicates that small amounts of red wine may be beneficial to ones health. Years ago I stoped going to the Bronx Zoo which is about 15 miles from my house because I felt sorry for the animals in cages. The good thing is now I can enjoy going because they have removed most of the animals from their cages and placed them in large natural environments .Real grounds ,trees, shrubs , lakes and ponds etc

Not at all ,some of the best people I know are religious . A religious guy I was very good friends with for years,and had a lot in common with died recently. I never told him I was an atheist .There was never a reason to bring the subject up. I do not see why this is a big deal .Its only a big deal if you choose it to be a big deal.My wife of over 30 years is a believer but not religious.Once in a while I let her know my feelings regarding the ridiculous ideas of believers. She accepts my non belief and I accept her belief

Not necessarily for a short term relationship,but for a long term relationship a cerebral compatibility is definitely the more appealing for me.Also I believe money and financial discord causes stress in a relationship . I have been married more than 30 years and have never had money issues with my wife .We have separate bank accounts ,credit cards etc .This arrangement will only work if both partners are very responsible and follow personal budgets ,regular savings etc
