I've been an atheist since I was in highschool. I am highly intelligent and analytical. Once upon a time I was very religious and began to really study the Bible. That is what started me on the path to athiesm as I began to really think about things.
I used to consider myself an intellectual, but came to realize that I abhored elitism and realized that intellectuals often used intelligence as a qualifier for too many things. I still enjoy the company of book readers and thoughtful persons more than others, but it's now more important to me to be accepting. We all have more in common than not. I would rather be kind than smart.
3 kids. One on the autism spectrum. Oldest is in college and a transgender boy. Youngest is 6 and middle is 8. My house is loud.
