I found out about this several years ago. I was relieved to know that this is an actual factual thing, as for as long as I can remember, I have at least one variant of Synesthesia.

Do you or someone you know have this? What are your thoughts on this?

It's very small, but trying to say snowy woolen mittens and popsicle sticks both make my lips curl and voice waiver because it's just as if either is touching my teeth. Gross feeling!

When my youngest son was very young he used to love the taste of yellow. I always found it really cool that he could taste colors. Now that he's an adult he doesn't have that ability.

I’ve heard it diminishes with age. Mine is still present; however not as crisp as younger years.
