As I have gone through tremendously challenging health issues, I don’t typically feel well. Sometimes I hate being around people. So I am in a rather unpleasant mood. I prefer to be polite and get along. Here’s the problem. When a usually very nice person says god bless, I often want to -A. Scream because I find it so offensive. B. Politely say nothing C.Say Thank you just to get away without being hostile D. Wishing I could quickly correct them without sounding like an unstable person. How do others handle this stuff? I’m curious. Thanks.

I just politely say thank you. They mean well.
