Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.The economy , now, views people as units of consumption rather than units of production. Think about how shop keepers used to live upstairs, onsite, at their shops. Now they're forced to live in the suburbs so their home consumes but produces no product. Same thing with farms where the vast majority of farms, themselves, are not the homes for the farmers! Ironic, huh?
