When you think about it. Your just an Egyptian. Our cities will be pyramids. Our knowledge could be lost. Our children's... children will wonder how we all died off.

I often wonder. If we don't all die off what would humans evolve into in say, 500,000 years or so.

Just because we are getting old and we know our last day is getting near, that's no reason or excuse to spread the idea of "end of civilization" or "extinction of humanity". That's not what we should be planting in all those young minds around us. Of course, what do I know...

Your answer counts...

You could take it a few million steps further down the line to it's inevitable conclusion..
Which is the end of the planet when our sun expands in its dying throws ..destroying all earth based life.
Of course it is highly likely that we will have already died out by then from any number of endings..war disease, asteroids, global warming etc

Anyway have a great day! ?

Great!
Now... I need a drink.

Lol... awww brother.... it's just a thought. I was thinking how climate change dried up the land in Egypt and wondering how it happened.

Our children's children will be dead. "It's the end of the world as we know it."

@TheAstroChuck REM

@IamNobody Is it REM or David Byrne?

@AstralSmoke if my memory serves me well, I still say REM..... If my memory is having fun by putting shame on me then be it (but still REM rings a bell)

@IamNobody You're probably right.

I like the double reflectiveness of this. I imagine Egyptians said that about the Samarians. Hell, my kids say this about me. Smh

We are on track. I have heard tales of this and never followed up so I do not know if it is valid. There was supposed to be an iron that was created that was indestructible. I have heard it called skunk iron the recipe is seemingly lost and the iron set at the bottom of the sea. This is just one example could be an urban legend.
