Update on the kitties. So I've moved the family to better quarters because just staying behind the AC was untenable. Momma cat has accepted the new accommodations and now I don't have to worry about the kittens moving around and falling off of an altitude. I placed the carrier high on a surface, because momma Tyger wants the kittens up high and off the ground. They are doing well and her wounds (self inflicted scratches) are healing with medication.
You reminded me Las Vegas, my son bought a house in Paradise less than 2 years ago. There is an enclosed former garden where some lounge chairs and some wood is only thing there but some neighbor cat had made it his office. Every day he clock there, with shelter for sun and for rain. We leave him alone, always with water, at times with food. When I was a kid the female dog of the firestation, a block off my house had her puppies under my house kitchen. My job was to crawl and retrieve them. A dalmatian and she ran away with my common nobody dog. After that I grew up with the attitude that in Love and Romance everything is possible
Good for you. One of the best cats I ever had was a kitten I rescued that had fallen off a parking garage roof.
