I retired from a government institution a few years back. In our section, we had holiday parties that we each brought a dish to.
At one particular party, one of the women who worked in the office insisted we all pray a Christian prayer before the meal. I posed a question to her...said I, "what if someone isn't Christian, doesn't pray, or is of another faith?". Her reply was, "well, they can just leave the room." I told her that it was not acceptable to kick someone out because they did not want to pray in the same way that she did, or did not want to pray at all. I did speak to the supervisor about it, and things were smoothed over. She then accepted people not praying or praying in another manner. Any thoughts?
That is called a closed mind. It never was opened in the least. I'm sure it just made her hold on to her anger and ignorance even tighter. She probably prays for you and your misguided views every night. You won, and she probably has a dartboard with "your Satan worshiping face" on it. HAHA!
