Do you have a dream that you are pursuing ?
I'm going to rent out my house and move into a van built. I plan to travel and spend a ton of time outside for at least a year. During that time, I hope to find I like it and find a way to continue living that way indefinitely. Anyone want to rent a 3 bedroom house halfway between Detroit and Flint?
Sounds like a fun adventure ! ?
For me, music and martial arts have served a vital function in my life: besides the artistic and physical fitness elements, the social and psychological benefits of doing them has resulted in basically anything positive about my personality. Those studies can really introduce a person to their own humanity, I think.
My goal is to have instructional locations in place that teach these things but also allow the social and artistic elements to flourish as well. So, teach these things and also fulfill the non - religious parts of what a church does. I've seen the destructive things that happen at a church, but I've seen times when those places have helped people. I want to help people without having to lie or subjugate them. To say it succinctly; a church of useful and expressive skill - or of humanity.
So far, so good.
Splendid ! ?
I've done it all at this point in my life. If anything, to keep learning something new is what make my wheels going....
I'm always evolving ! ?
@Wildgreens it's a great feeling, isn't?
@IamNobody
There's nothing like it. ?
I used to have dreams, I achieved some, some went bad.
Since the age of 14 I've wanted to pursue a career in acting, but often I was too intimidated by the demands of the craft and the uncertainty of making a living in such a profession. Every so often, I would indulge with experience in community theater productions, which I enjoyed. However, the passing of another birthday and recent exposure to some great plays and performances have inspired me to give it another shot after several dormant years. Although generally my work schedules make traditional rehearsal-and-performance schedules for stage plays next to impossible, I've hit up friends who regularly make short films to keep me in mind. I'm auditioning over the summer for several festivals and staged-reading series. I've attended casting calls for background/extra work. And I just had a round of new head shots made. For numerous reasons, I've decided to make a more focused and persistent effort to find opportunities to do the work of acting--I miss that process, and that dream has never left me.
I had a dream once, but the dream is over.
You can always create a new dream.?
@Wildgreens Thanks sweetie! Now I have to post this
