More tolerance, less tolerance, on the left, on the right. There’s plenty on both sides and playing number games isn’t going to get us anywhere.

I am not surprised. My experience has been that the people who rail the most against intolerance, are the most intolerant themselves. The same is true with bias and prejudice.

Biased much?

Kinda how atheists tend to be more tolerant than Christians. We tend to be in the minority and so we keep our mouths shut. The article was clearly biased and the sampling was done on a self-selecting group. Of over 4000 surveys sent out only 500 responded so there is no data to reflect the opinions of those that did not respond. Let me ask this: would you as a non-believer, date someone who is devout in their beliefs? If one knows one is going to be at odds with someone's beliefs it is probably wise not to date them. I don't want to defend bad behavior like rioting or attacking others based upon ones political or moral beliefs, but that crap is found on both sides of the aisle. Often the results of studies are the due to questions designed to give only a limited response which does not give a fair assessment of a respondents true feelings.

Funny how it used to be cool to be intolerant of Nazis. It was called WWII.

If not being tolerant of anti-semitic demonstrators, separating children from their parents, polluting the planet to make money, (and more) then yes, democrats are less tolerant.
