Looks like it has a Chevy engine in it, I always hated when hot-rodders did that.

I guess he could have let it rust on the mountainside

@btroje NO, putting a Chevy engine in a Ford, that's disrespectful to a Ford, especially when Ford had the hottest engine at that time, Flathead V-8. Just ask Clyde Barrow or Bonnie Parker! 😉

the engine is 1955 ?312 Ford he pulled out of a Thunderbird

@buzz13 not crabby at all. WHy do people have to interject negativity on a positive thread? If you don't have something nice to say..... Whatever my friend chooses to do with his vehicle, he has done a great job and you made an incorrect judgment of his work and criticized it on that basis. Take it somewhere else.

a lot of work went into this starting with digging it out of the hillside it was pushed over years ago and pulling it back up to the road
