Just read about a local author who wrote the book about this event in her life (apparently she lives on San Juan Island). Another amazing story about another gutsy woman. I heard today that out of >190 women running for positions in the Democratic party some 103 have gotten through the primary. It is said this will be a time in politics for women.

I was disappointed in "Adrift", too. Saw "Solo" and "Deadpool 2" with the kids and enjoyed both, though. Not a lot of depth, but were entertaining.

Makes me grateful for my books... (:
