I only slow dance. That way I don't look too much of a fool.

Freeform dancing, yes. Choreographed dancing... I've been known to fall over. They ask me what I'm doing, I say I have no idea, they then realise that's not a flippant answer, I literally cannot make my body do what my brain has learnt.

I like to dance except when I don’t like to dance. I hate it when people who are dancing do that ‘C’mon and dance’ motion when I really don’t feel like it. Some people just don’t take no for an answer and then it becomes this uncomfortable situation. Those people suck.

I do. Latin, Ballroom, Folk, etc. ...Folks, "left feet" is not a permanent condition. It's just a matter of exposure and practice. Key is to continuously listen to the rhythm of what you want to learn to dance. Once you internalize the rhythm, the body and the feet will follow...

I do not dance. Never been any good at it. However. I make people dance to my playing my electric bass guitar which I have done since I was 14 years old. I am 63 and still playing and I feel my playing is now better than when I was in my 20s.

No ! Yes... No !... yes... so judgmental by so many different people's, cultures, lifestyles.
For many, it's natural... for just as many... it's foreign.
If you don't dance you're an asshole... oh, great, that helps. fu too ! For every dancer that loves dancing... there are as many non-dancers that would love to dance... but have been shamed, or embarrassed... thank you very much.
Oh... I know... just do it. Oh, ok because you say so... man, it's a hang up, probably more a mental hang up... but none the less.

I used to go ballroom and jitterbug dancing almost every weekend with my ex, plus we'd practice cool new moves during the week using YouTube instructional videos.

Later, I made that one of the required criteria for dating someone. He had to love dancing and/or be athletic and willing to learn.
