There are a large number of Americans on Agnostic, and I worry that the partisan nature of many American people here skews the conversation. The way to a peaceful future is not through polarity and polemic.

You are right to be concerned. Differing opinions are understandable, but when people can't even agree on facts it makes any productive discussion very difficult. Wish us luck that the political bickering gets resolved by voting and not something much worse.
