That would be rational and the scrap cost almost 0. It would never work because it is practical.
Also there's a lot less profit.
@Catrachel1111 There should be more the raw material did not cost a lot so the finished product can have a higher price relative to raw material. This was my objective the whole time I was a purchasing agent for GE.Lower cost of raw material to increase profit.
