Hi, I'm new here. Hello! and want to start off with this question: is Capitalism the answer or is it the most disfunctional and dangerous political ideology in this world today?
I agree that Capitalisim can be either good or bad depending on how it is used- the same as socialism for example, although it could be argued we have had neither true socialism or capitalism as they were intended by their originators- socialism got as far as dictatorship of the prolataliat and then stalled, on the other hand true capitalism doesn't exist ethir as demonstrated in bubble markets in housing in the Uk and protective measures to protect homemade bussiness- a great example of this was the global finaicial crisis where the banks were bailed out by government-those in power tend to have more wealth and don't want to change the power reigeime- so won't allow where thier money is to fail-hence the protect ive measures to protect
their wealth- true capitailism would allow for more bankruptices as that is the natural idea behind capitailism-it's like evelution for bussinesses, survival of the strongest- however that led capitailism to loose its way by giving bonuses to share holders rather than reinvesting in the bussiness so profit became king with other long term consequences such as jobs and enviromental pollution being ignored- this cannot continue in the long term as it is detrimental to all.Ironically true socialism is quite almost Christian oriented in it's thinking and yet it's loathed in the U.S- a very Christian country(at least that's the impression the media and those in power give) because of its suppose affinity to communism and the cold war, which I suppose shows the hypocacisy of so called "Traditional Christian values"-personally I am against Traditions because they tend to be primative, barbaric and keep the powerful in power.Socialism may have gone in the dustbin, but it's about time capitailism joined it as an idea of the past that has outlived its usefulness.
Capitalism is the prefered choice of the one % hierarchy but can still operate under a Socialist system, since they both are dictated by the same monetary system. The real issue is the one % problem and their unrealistic obbession for power and control.
Anarchy had proven to be the most effective system. Used in Spain in between the years of 1936 - 1939 durring the worlds depression and just before the second world war. The crime rate fell while peoples needs we're being met. It was beginning to get the attention of the French, Belgium and other nearby neighbours which made both the Capitalists and Communists very worried. It ended ofcourse with one of the worlds greatests crimes against humanity which was 'The Starlin Massacre'. The Capitalists turned a blind eye because it was in both their best interests to regain control of a nation that would once again be in control of the same hierarchy.
Direct Democrary which is similar to Anarchy as in having the people be directly in charge of policy making. This is the system that is not encouraged by the world media but more by social media and will hopefully replace Capitalism, Socialism and all other systems that is hierarchically based.
Let me guess, you're one of those "socialism would be great " people who says " that's not real socialism" when it fails? Nothing wrong with capitalism,. It's what has made the greatest countries work.
Hey! Socialism is by far greater then Capitalism. It is Capitalism that caused the invasion of the middle east. Capitalism that have turned our leaders into irresponsible climate change deniers. Capitalism that has caused the refugee and terrorist disaster. Capitalism that is destroying our community and social welfare systems in their own countries. Wake up to your self! Capitalism works only for the 1% at the expense of the rest of the 99%....if you have not noticed yet! everythings failing under the Capitalist system.
