Wondering why so many people in my area have not included a profile picture? Anyone else noticing this. I like to see who I am talking to. Call me old school I guess.

For many others, they simply don't want their images on the Internet for the sake of general privacy.
Don't take it personally, Earthman. You will get used to people's avatars and even remember them.
If you are here for dating and you and some avatar person start talking, you could ask for their picture then, right?
