I retired almost 4 weeks ago! It's a weird feeling, not having to every look for a job again!

Enjoy. I enjoy not getting up at 5am although I am usually up no later than 7.

I found too much trouble, too damn soon. The Secret Service came here looking for me yesterday regarding my anti-Trump posts on Facebook. Yikes. They searched the house, interviewed me for a while, and interviewed my two younger brothers who happened to be here visiting for the weekend. I don't think it's going any further than that. I think they just wanted to warn me that they're keeping an eye on me. Wow.

@Ellatynemouth I am not joking. It's been a week and a half now, almost, and no Secret Service, or Sheriff's Deputies have returned to my place.

I am a medical retired. I would rather work than suffer every day believe me. I loved getting dirty sweating and problem-solving. I do all that being a single dad just not quite the same.

One day you may get that weird feeing again... when you "feel like" looking for a job, and you don't have to... or find one without looking. I retired a couple times that way, gets easier.

I have been retired for over 23 years, never worked after retiring and have enjoyed every minute of it. I would not want any other life.
