So today as we were walking into the Mount Rushmore Monument (Federally owned property), we encounter three separate God pushers. It puzzled me since they were inside the "park" and unrestricted. Two had tables and pamphlets set up and were calling out to people. One guy was handing out "souvenir" bills that had religious propaganda on it.
My son and I took one and as soon as I saw what it was, I jerked it out of his hand, handed it back to the guy and said, "Here, you can have these back my son is too old for this stuff."
That was a nice response. I will steal that for my use in the future.
Should have asked for a pack of them, then dumped them in the next trash can you came to. Maybe picked up more on the way out to do it again.
I'm surprised that they were permitted in the park doing that.
What happened to separation of state and church?
