2018 summed up succinctly. Being angry all the time is exhaustive and corrosive. Not being angry feels morally irresponsible.
OOOh! damned if you do, and damned if you don't - I think eventually we will run out of the energy for anger, and maybe realise there is simply nothing much to be done about it all , except ride out the storm - I have taken to seriously looking after myself not doing anything I don't want to do and eating soft dough peanut cookies.
We are babysitting Trump for a bit over here so as long as he doesn't mismake himself overly much with the royals -you'll get a break
So my choice is not be angry but make sure others get angry at me. Nothing like helping out the causes.
I'm always angry. I should start looking for a plot.
YES!! I know exactly what you mean. I think that's part of this administration's evil plan - to just exhaust us all into complacency with their endless crimes and moral offenses.
We still get to vote, at least if you happen to be white in certain parts of the country.
@jlynn37 I vote and will continue to do so, but it's hard to put a lot of faith in it when gerrymandering and voter suppression are rampant. And let's not forget that the White House is currently occupied by someone who got 3 million fewer votes than his opponent. Those in power will do whatever it takes to remain there.
