Original all the way! Watching Shatner overact is fantastic, not that Picard isn't a good Captain, but he just isn't the same level of delight for me as Kirk.

My father got me hooked on Star Trek and he's regretted it ever since. Peace and long life.

I inherited my mothers love for Star Trek. Literally as a small child in the 1970s my mom would take over the TV to feed her Trekkie....

Happy new year. I am not a trekkie but I did some trekking day before yesterday if that's OK.

I guess I am a quasi-Trekkie. I love watching ST but I don't go to any conventions, dress up like any characters, or buy any toys are models in the ST franchise. I own a few of the movies such as Generations, Insurrection, and Nemesis Later on, I plan to buy several of the series on YouTube and watch them.

Netflix has the original series (and the subsequent animated series), The Next Generation, Voyager, Deep Space Nine, and Enterprise. I don't know how much it costs on YouTube, but I suspect Netflix is cheaper.
