Just had to share this with people who might understand...Murphy's Law has ruled a good part of my life...one girlfriend even sent me a Murphy's Law funny calendar. I had the calendar for over 30 years and another girlfriend suggested burning it to make Murphy go away. I thought it was a great idea but to shorten the story, burning it came back to bite me. Anyway, I was recounting the whole Murphy's Law thing to a date and she told me that I should take control of my own life and that Murphy doesn't control it. She then proceeded to tell me that she's going through a rough stretch in her life right now but it's god's plan. She doesn't believe in Murphy but she does believe in god
