Post your city, your photos, and anything you want to share about your experience at the march you attended.
Here you go from Harrisburg, PA. About 800 of us in 110 degree heat index. I also posted this as a general post under the category of "politics" I am very proud of the turnout.
I did not know there was a march until I passed a bunch on a busy street corner (busy for us). It was raining a bit today and the temp was in the 60's. If I had brought a camera I would have gotten a picture but there will probably be some posted on FB for this area.
Thanks for going in spite of the discomfort
@laini When I think of these children there is no discomfort that I wouldn't face. If I could I'd storm the centers but I know I'd be shot down by a fellow American working as a guard. I'm old enough to remember Kent State. That image will never leave my mind. I'm afraid we are headed back in that direction.
Glad you were taking part. Today is the last day to work OT before my knee replacement so I couldn't go. It might be too late to ask you but I hope you were loud for me too!
Take care of your knee. That is a tough replacement surgery
I am in New Orleans. It was about 93° with a zillion percent humidity. There were tons of people. I would say more than a few thousand and less than 10,000.
I felt less alone in this red state, and happy to see so many people out there. A lot of great signs and T-shirts and banners.
There were a lot of cops, but zero incidents of trouble.
A lot of the tourists gave us dirty looks and one lady was crossing her fingers toward us as though she were warding off the devil. I felt sorry for the bitter old woman.
I'm sure you are glad you sent. I felt very good going and participating
