Very inspiring speech by candidate Trump!
I continue to be perplexed by how anybody all could possibly still believe a single damn word of that, considering it's coming from the mouth of a 22 billion dollar trust fund who has spent their entire life bilking and abusing the system to clean up or cover up their laundry list of screw ups. But here we are today with roughly 25% of the population still on board with this clown show.
Almost two years in to this guys tenure in the Oval Office, and he's every bit the jack wagon that anyone who bothered to look behind the curtain knew he would be.
Trump speaks the truth. Just like many in America, they don't want to hear there is no God, people don't accept truth unles it fits what they already believe.
Fact checkers say tht on his best truth tellign days, that over two thirds of what Trump says are lies.
The heavily edited video was edited to be inspiring to the clueless. Trump was guilty of tdoing he very things he says was wrong with the country, and he said the system was rigged, but he just wanted to be in charge of the rigging.
@gater Just yesterday, Trump claimed that EVERY person who owned a Harley Davidson Motorcycle voted for him. After visiting North Korea, he said that the nuclear threat ws over, even though no details had been worked out and no actual agreement was reached. He said he would get Mexico to pay for building a border wall. He claimed never to had an affiair with Stormy Daniels and also that she was never paid off.
To be honest I never actually listen to Trump because he is just not a reliable source for information.
BTW, although Snopes got some things wrong, they do most often get things right. Factcheck.org has a very good reputation for accuracy. Both have been under attack recently mostly to confuse people, as most attacks have proven to be groundless.
You did inspire me to make a post with this article though. [truthexam.com]
@gater Most lies can be couched as "exaggerations". Teh point is that a lie is a falsehood and exaggerations are not true, so they are also falsehoods. If you think of exaggerations as anythign other than lies, then you will endure a hell of a lot of conflict in your life.
Peopel who exaggerate are NOT sincere, and facts and truth do not matter much to them, thus the great opportunities for conflict.
I exclude exagerators from my friends and acquaintances. To me they are not honest people and I cna do without the life complications they will bring with them.
If that kind of thing is alright with you, then all I can say is "good luck with that."
hahahaha I trust you're being ironic @gater.
But if you're serious, we'll see whether your view of Americans as gullible ignoramuses are accurate.
My view is that the smarter American majority will see through Trump's misinformation and disinformation he and his allied trolls are spreading. Basically, that Americans are smarter than you, the Republicans, and the Trump team think they are.
If Americans are not as I see them, they'll have earned what they chose, replaying history repeated 100s if not 1000s of times before. With a metaphorical Guillotine ending each. LLOL
We'll see soon enough.
